Im watching the lord of the rings right now

kinda strange how i view it now after my paradime shifted towards true liberty not blind patriotism. Ideas def have consequences and this completely boggles my mind. I feel like the ideas that we hold dear are similar to how they held the ring. Many different people all fighting to carry the ring the distance. Darkness following relentlessly interjecting in all forms. The ring bearer doubts, gets knocked down, and sometimes gives up. We all are very crucial in this process of carrying our ring of liberty. We must build each other up when we see each other fall. We must be relentless and push no matter what the darkness says. We know our ideas are the only hope for a free productive society that gloats in taking care of its poor voluntarily.

I challenge you to watch it and better yet i challenge anyone to encourage on this site even when it seems hard.

I've always seen symbolism in

I've always seen symbolism in The Lord of the Rings that directly relates to the challenges we face... but not at all in the way you describe. The One Ring represents power/tyranny, and is the enemy of liberty. The whole idea is to destroy it. There is no "one ring" of liberty, because liberty is decentralized. No "one" thing can ever represent it.

I agree...

I think what I mean is...

I heard/saw that point made before...

I heard/saw that point made before... that in our "information age", supposedly, "information" (however you assess its quality) would be "the new wealth"... (at stakes in wars vs. freedoms and sovereign peoples)

I'm still pondering about that... not sure if it's any wise to buy into that... I mean, whether you know or not where are the resources you need or desire to sustain yourself... whether or not you have the accurate information... in the end, you'll also want to actually have access to those thanks to the fruits of your labor, hopefully rightfully kept...

Restoring sound money is definitely a critical first step towards more justice and liberty, anyway, for sure!

Access to information, abilty to access information.

maybe the ability to share information...

is more important than the ability to access information.

Some people

think time is man made. If you don't believe in it, it's not wasted...
