How did the Roman Empire fall to the Fiat currency?

I often hear that the Roman Empire was destroyed by the fiat currency. But I want to know more on the specifics, i.e. the behaviour of the Roman economy, major changes affecting the value of the Roman currency... the equivalent things that we know about the fiat currencies (esp. the dollar) of today.

Where is a good source of information out there that details the story of the Roman fiat economy? How it happened, why it happened... and what resulted from the fiat currency. I'm also all eyes for an explanation here in this thread!

Endless

Endless wars and mass immigration.

Luke 3:38
Isaiah 43:3-5

moral degeneracy

Just like we see in all the hollywood and pro leagues and business and politics today.

The money is just an object like a tool. Besides, look at the general body of public school teachers and administrators. This is another considerable determinant of the woes. Are they even fit for running a daycare? Many are alcoholics because they are weak people imo.

I think more actors will be drug addicts in the future. Look at the establishment of hollywood these days...going to a carnival would be more normal lol

When you think of it this way, you won't be tempted to go see entertainment so much.

Also, just in case it hasn't been thrown around yet, another page which documents quite well the fiat Castle of Cards ... and its inevitable, systematic fall, observably:

Wow.

I'm going to learn a lot from all this material!

I believe in the freedom to be what we choose to be.

I know! Mind boggling, ain't it?!

I know! Mind boggling, ain't it?!

It's like mankind never learns about the importance of sticking to true money.

If you ask me, I have absolutely NO CLUE why!

I mean, we all remembered in all times to chase girls, and drink, and eat, and go pee and poop, and stuff... but real money... we always recklessly end up... not giving a dime to it! And then big mess ensues...

P U Z Z L I N G ... or what?!

Corruption. People wanted

Corruption. People wanted entitlements and welfare like they do today, so the government couldn't do that with a gold standard. You need an expansion of credit for the government to provide stuff for people.

I think it works like this;

I think it works like this; the gov prints money so it can have war, we get inflation, more people need welfare because of inflation, then the gov provides welfare to cover-up the inflation.

Close ~ End the Fed.

Government prints up suitable bank notes. In the case of the USA, the bank notes are green. Large letter emblazon, "Federal Reserve Note" right at the top, where "United States of America" used to be. It is clear to all that know the meaning of that bank note, it is of no good to the USA. It is a bank note printed for the Federal Reserve.

The USA gifts those Federal Reserve Notes to the Federal Reserve. In turn, the Federal Reserve uses those said same notes to buy USA Treasury Notes & whatever else suits their fancy. Something magical happens. Those Fed Notes turn into "legal tender"... cash. Still green, but cash. The Federal Reserve in entitled to create monopoly-money as "legal tender."

Coincidentally, the Fed is charged with monitoring inflation. Never mind about that. Seems incidental.

Whatever the USA wishes to spend, the Fed obliges with that magical incantation turning paper notes into "legal tender." Then, to be sure things turn out profitably for the Fed, the USA must pay with more Fed Notes, plus interest. I is a never ending cycle... Until someone outside the racket stop the nonsense.

End the Fed. - Ron Paul

End the Fed, loaning you blind since 1913.
