Hannity: "I am not a Republican" - Sean Hannity spars with Rep. Keith Ellison video

On-air fireworks erupt between FNC’s Sean Hannity and Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison

Daily Caller: Last night on Hannity:

HANNITY: Congressman, welcome back, sir.

ELLISON: You bet.

HANNITY: I guess that’s what we can describe as staying on message, something the Democratic Party I would argue is very good at.

ELLISON: You’re pretty good at it, too.

HANNITY: Thank you.

ELLISON: Quite frankly you are the worst excuse for a journalist I have ever seen.

HANNITY: I can’t hear you.

ELLISON: You heard me.

HANNITY: No, say it again.

ELLISON: I heard you — what you just displayed was not journalism, it was yellow journalism, it wasn’t anything close to try to tell the American people what’s really going on and I mean, it’s just shocking.

HANNITY: Yellow journalism, to play Obama in his own words is yellow journalism.

ELLISON: With the background music and the lead up before you let the president talk. Let me tell you, I was here. Everything the president said is absolutely true.

ELLISON: And for you to try to make the American people make you think it isn’t is deceptive on your part and is a breach of everything, every journalistic ethic I heard of was just violated by you. And the president was truthful. The president was honest. What the president said was dead on accurate and for you to say the president is to blame here is ridiculous. I was there August, 2011 when the Republicans, your party, which you shamelessly …

HANNITY: I am not a Republican

ELLISON: You are nothing but a Republican.

If he is more a conservative than Republican...

...then he wouldn't have been to likely to get behind whoever the nominee was (except maybe Ron Paul) in the 2012 pres primaries.

I don't listen much but i do remember him saying that this was going to be a debate between Obama's socialism and Reagan conservatism, no matter who the candidate was.

Hannity is awesome

Good guy to listen to. That Congressman was acting like a fool.

You gotta see this. It is so childish!!

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

I've heard him say this before

a few times. After he says this, he usually says "I'm a conservative". Regardless, I really can't stand to listen to him since I've been "awake".

Has anyone run for office under that tag?

Is there such a party called "Conservative Party"? I think there is somewhere in Europe, but I'm not familiar with one here.

There is New York but they

There is in New York but they almost always endorse the GOP candidate so it is a distinction without a difference. If Hannity lived in a state that did not allow this, he wouldn't use this argument. Trust me. He is a GOP shill.

I have also heard Insanity say few times in some random clips I have seen that he is not Republican, but conservative.
