Actually

Beck was onto the Fed even when he still worked at Fox. He had the author of "Creature from jekyll island" on...remember watching it.

Some of can hate Beck all you

Some of can hate Beck all you want, but how many other national hosts are bringing libertarians on to have these discussions more and more?

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

Jerry Doyle

Beck Bye Bye.

Jerry

Doyle is the man...that doesn't mean there isn't room for more.

Beck is desperate

His audience is flagging. He needs a new source of warm bodies. He has a huge infrastructure to support. He's not on Fox at 5pm anymore, with the 3million viewers that came with.

We are the natural "target audience."

Does it really help us to jump on board a sinking ship? Some people are creaming their pants about it. I don't see the point of the excitement.

Which is to say

Beck is damaged goods. He's widely seen as deranged and crazy. I'm not sure how we can be elevated by hitching ourselves to this sinking star.

MINUS ONE!

Alex

Jones is viewed in a similar light by most people (deranged and crazy). Should we rip Alex apart and tell him to stop talking about libertarians? No way...he reaches millions of people...just like Beck does.

I suppose

I am still a bit put off by his calling Ron Paul supporters terrorists and ripping Ron weekly during the election season last year. However, I am noticing I am settling down a bit and open to seeing where he goes with this.

I say this is exactly what

I say this is exactly what Beck needs to do to learn the philosophy. I think it would be great for him to have panels of LP leaders every day. Beck may not agree with us, but it's a huge sound board to reach a larger audience. Plus, he wasn't rude to the guests today. It was an actual conversation. I still don't trust Beck, but I congratulate him for having a panel of LP guests. I say keep it up.

+1

Well said, I feel the same way.

Thanks for posting.

I've been burnt by beck too many times to support him in any way. Perhaps I'll run across the vid at some point in the future when 'theblaze' ... isn't part of the link.

Strange

Glenn Beck is not a libertarian. But he keeps claiming he is.
He supports the war on drugs. He supports neo-con foreign policy. He supports governments involvment in marriage. The list goes on and on.
Not sure why none of these guys call him out for that.

He has actually changed his

He has actually changed his mind on the foreign policy too... He is trying to learn more and has opened the door to libertarians. Let's give him that...

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

He doesn't support government

He doesn't support government involvement in marriage. He's libertarian on that issue.

I LOVE Hornberger

A single speech of his during the 1996 LP Convention opened me up to Libertarianism in less than 1 hr.

Too bad BECK is on this program ; )
I don't hate too many things but I hate Beck because he is an evil Snake in the grass. And I hate evil.
