Waco: 20 years ago, in memoriam Federal Agents honor THEIR dead
Submitted by Ulfilas on Thu, 02/28/2013 - 09:03Sick and disgusting article. No remorse of the 17 children 10 and under that were murdered in the destruction. Janet Reno and the Clintons still roam free. Another example of due process abandoned.

Same Sniper at Waco & Ruby Ridge
The final Waco conflagration occurred April 19, 1993. But this was hardly the first time Lon Horiuchi had found himself in a position to shoot innocent civilians.
You see, Horiuchi was the paid assassin the FBI used Aug. 22, 1992 — eight months earlier — to plug a fatal hole in the head of Vickie Weaver, an unarmed mother clutching her 10-month-old baby during a similar siege at Ruby Ridge, Idaho. It seems Lon Horiuchi is something of a specialist — the FBI’s go-to guy when it’s open season on women and children

Watching Waco: Rules of
Watching Waco: Rules of Engagement is what woke me up to the reality of our govt. A few years later I caught on to Ron Paul during his 2008 campaign trail, and he really gave me a clear direction to grow into. Im lucky to have basically grown up under the influence of the liberty movement.
WACO was horrendous.
Waco, Ruby Ridge, etc....all horrific despicable acts by the govt.
20 years?!?!
my mind still remembers, like it was yesterday,
and not much has changed,i still get that lump

IS AN A-NARCHIST ONE WHO PRACTICES THE ART OF SQUEALING?
Your loving caring government ....
Burned children alive ...
Government monsters-with-badges BURNED CHILDREN TO DEATH.
. So long as We the People allow thugs with badges to get away with publicly burning children we will have absolute despotism. We will have tyranny beyond comprehension.

Don't call them monsters
The most terrifying thing in the world is the realization that absolutely anyone is capable of carrying out the most horrific of actions given the right circumstances. People did this. "Regular" people.

While I agree that there are extenuating circumstances
that might cause someone to resort to an extreme reaction there is a line many would refuse to cross when it comes to children. There is such a thing as being "inherently evil" and these individuals who burned the children and their guardians alive certainly could be placed into that category. There was not even a "fight or flight" circumstance that could possibly justify the actions they embarked upon. The ATF went into Waco with an arrogant "we'll own them" attitude and their trigger happiness elicited an appropriate response from those they attacked. The attitude that unless you "surrender all to the authority we have been given" creates a god like persona which, when given to an unstable individual, leads to disasters such as this. I'd certainly have to take issue with your refusal to describe them as monsters. I'm not forgiving enough to hate the deed and not the doer, particularly when the deed will be repeated ad naseum and I, as well as many of us here, might be the next one in their cross hairs.
If not us than who?
The point of dehumanizing,
The point of dehumanizing, demonizing or deifying others is to separate them from the "rules" that naturally apply to all. In other words, either make someone less than human, which means it's OK to kill them, or make them more than human, therefore any terrible thing they do is acceptable.
No one is more or less than human, therefore even the worst among us are no different from the best of us.

Your first paragraph is spot on
but the second reveals a dangerous naivety to reality. Your statement could be arguably true on one level and that is a biological one. Once you enter in a humans power of rational thought and the inherent evils this makes possible each of us is different.
The first paragraph is an excellent description of how our government is turning out conscienceless individuals who will slay us with no regards to the moral consequences and if you for one infinitesimal second are under the illusion that a Buddhist, Hindu Taoist or turn the other cheek type of philosophy will deter them from murdering you then you are sadly mistaken.

I will honor the day by being thankful
Thankful that my eyes were opened(by many of you on here).
Thankful to have the wisdom to see the proper side of this tragedy now.
20 years ago I was just another head in the sand idiot.
Thank god for the DP.
Govt. killed more children than Lanza did at Sandy Hook
12 were under the age of 5.
they would like to think they had the upper hand.
In reality, because of their blunderings, Timothy McVeigh made sure the score got settled on his terms.
A lesson for all. Violence never solves anything.

I was a young kid..
When the Waco disaster happened. I remember wondering why it was such a big deal. Now that 20 yrs have passed I can see such a long list of mistakes.
What a terrible tragedy.

Rules of Engagement is a great documentary
Everyone should watch it.
Thanks for the reminder, and the post.

Shouldnt that be put on the front page for today since its the anniversary?
Why does Alex Jones insert a "submit to fear" subliminal message in his movies?
This wasn't the Army, Navy
Marines or Air Force, it was a bunch of steroid afflicted wannabe cowboys from various alphabet agencies given carte blanche to murder American citizens. We don't have the military to fear, it's the ambitious, immoral skin headed punks with their homoeccentric bonding rituals that are the ones who will attempt to eliminate our Constitution. These are truly blood thirsty individuals chomping at the bit for their first kill. Molon Labe!
