Here is some feedback that I receive that I trust:

Victoria:
I was in the U.S .military for 30 years and the U.S. Navy for 24 years and retired out of Norfolk as an Intel Officer.
I can tell you, having lived in Virginia Beach for 12 of those years (30 minutes to the Naval Base) that
having five U.S. carriers in port at one time,IS CREATING THE PERFECT TARGET.
Such a move is insanity....unless you are TRYING to 'set up the Navy' for a missile attack.
Now, who what 'American' president or CINCUSNAV would EVER do such a thing.
Three guesses and the first two just don't count.
Hint: He has three vowels in his name and if you rearrange the letters they spell USURPER.

Dr. Tom (LCDR, USN-ret)

Victoria, don't know if you are aware but this problem is compounded by the fact that the Thimble Shoals channel is about a 45 minute to an hour transit to open ocean from NOB Norfolk. Thimble Shoals channel can be easily blocked with sunken ships, bottling up every other ship in port. At least at Pearl Harbor, ships not sunk or damaged could escape to open ocean, like they could from Mayport. Why don't they put a nuc carrier here? Hmmmm.

I received from a friend yesterday:

What is wrong with this picture?
The picture is of the five nuclear carriers... Just like Battleship Row, Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941.

This picture was taken the other day in Norfolk. The Obama Administration ordered 5 nuclear carriers into harbor for "routine" (?) inspections. Heads of the Navy were flabbergasted by the directive.
NORFOLK, VA. (February 8, 2013). The first time since WWII that five U.S. aircraft carriers were docked together.
USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), USS Enterprise (CVN 65), USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75), and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) are all in port at Naval Station Norfolk, Va., the world’s largest naval station.

Sources stated that this breached a long standing military protocol in the Navy meant to avoid massive enemy strike on major US forces. (U.S. Navy photo by Chief Mass Communication Specialist Ryan J. Courtade/Released)

For the same reason companies

For the same reason companies do not let all their CEO's or top executives and the same for national governments sending officials all on one plane ie Poland.

While I am satisfied that these Carriers...

are at home and not projecting amerikan imperialism throughout the world, I am also disturbed that they would ALL be placed together in a sort of "Carrier Row".

The truth is, folks, we are out of money. The gubber-mint will just NOT admit it.

Think about it. All this hullabaloo about cuting 0.9%, is it, from our "projected" budget? Things are seriously close now, people, to folding.

Stock up on your beans and rice and water. It doesn't cost much and will sustain you this summer until you can get your garden up.

False flag. Going broke. Bad Naval planning. Whatever it is, it ain't good.

Three cheers for John Boner, Harry Reid, Diane Feinstein, Lamar Alexander, and ALL the rest! 30 years in the Senate and look at us now. This country is reeling and they are pointing fingers. Disgusting.

9/11 Truth.

They only have 1 service garage...

"The Norfolk yard is one of the few facilities on the east coast capable of dry docking nuclear aircraft carriers. Another facility capable of drydocking such carriers is Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), located on the other side of Hampton Roads in Newport News, which is the only U.S. shipyard that currently builds and refuels nuclear aircraft carriers."

"HII is the sole designer, builder, and refueler of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers in the United States."

bad Naval planning! Its all a perfect storm.

Its going to be really tough for TPTW (the powers that were)

to get a false flag past us anymore. Although they have been able to keep the dollar on life support for longer than I expected...TPTW are starting to have their hands full. Their presstitutes and propoganda are less influential with each passing day. Their "go to" distractions and fear mongering are starting to get little more than casual nods of indifference.

I have been working to help wake people up since 2009 and I'm FINALLY starting to sense an increasing number of Americans who are being forced to wipe the dried crust out of their eyes.

More people are questioning (and then) ignoring our so called leaders. My nipples get hard when I think about the day when we finally reach the tipping point and just a majority of the 99% have figured out that the only way we can affect change is to stop giving the 1% our sanction through acquiescence.

When the slaves all stop paying attention to the masters and when the words and actions of "our rulers" mean NOTHING to us...TPTW will become weaker and weaker. As the truth snowball keeps rolling down hill and picking up speed, TPTW are going to start $hitting their pants!

Presstitutes

Damn, not sure I've heard that one before. Quality new word for the MSM I will borrow if you don't mind.

Well spoken, sir.

Thie thing is, go213mph...

they NEVER get it by us!

They only have to get it by the masses of sheeple and they do that EVERY time. Throw in a castastrophe, and its smooth sailing for them. The tail wags the dog and they just "react" to the news propaganda. No one dares ask questions on the boob tube. The traitorous bubble heads, like glenda beck, keep us "well" informed.

I do agree with you, though, more of "us" are waking up.

Enough, yet? We'll soon see, I'm afraid.

While this may not be "news"

(as your 'conspiracy kooks') believe it's news, there are insights to be gained from the vast majority of the nation's carriers being docked at once. Readiness is one gauge people would be interested in, and yes there are security issues with so many carriers in a place for a long period of time.

And you would do better than to imagine you're in some kind chest-shoving match when giving your own assessment. Not everything is about you v. Conspiracy Kooks, and it's quite dismissive.

LOL

"vast majority of our carriers docked at once" hahahaha.

Do you even know what you're talking about? The US is the only country in the world with supercarriers, we currently have 10 after the USS Enterprise retired. The next closest country to us is France with the "Charles De Gaulle" which is less than half the size of one of our carriers. So, only 3 of our functional carriers are currently in port, one is unusable because it's got to be refueled with more nuclear material. The other (the USS Bush) hasn't passed flight testing for a range of aircraft so it's really only half way operational. The only one that's actually sitting there that could be doing something else is the USS Truman.

The fact is that we still have 7 supercarriers floating around the globe... how many do other countries have? ZERO. Clearly you know very little about this subject.

Childish.

But I'll respond: do you know what you are talking about when comparing the fighting potential of a carrier group, in context with supporting the scope of committed deterrence against the stated number of conflicts, plus their on-going support with low-intensity conflicts?

Have you ever heard

of Pearl Harbor? Care to analyze what went wrong and how over 2400 people were murdered?

Readiness?

Do you suffer from reading difficulties? You stated that this situation is a cause for concern related to "readiness", yet there's only ONE carrier in port that could be doing something else but isn't because of "sequester" cuts. You also ignore the fact that the US only has ONE shipyard capable of building and refueling nuclear carriers... so they would all be parked there anyway!

k you got me. It's routine procedure.

nt

Yeah, it is.

Refueling is routine when you run out of fuel, which the USS Lincoln is well past its 20 year deadline. Flight testing and certification is routine before launching planes off a ship like the USS Bush. Stripping a ship down is routine after it's been decommissioned like the USS Enterprise. The only thing not routine going on here is with the USS Truman... which is being held up due to politicians who routinely fail their country.

This isn't news

The USS Eisenhower is gone, left for the Middle East. Only 4 are currently left in port and of those, only 2 are fully functional... the USS Harry Truman and the USS Bush, which is undergoing flight testing for the V-22 Osprey. The USS Lincoln is being refueled, which apparently takes 2 years. The USS Enterprise is being dismantled because it's been retired.

So, of those, there's actually only 1 fully capable carrier in port that is ready for deployment, the USS Truman.

Better luck next time conspiracy kooks.

My opologies. I posted too quickly before

working to make sure this news was accurate.
Thank you "Tumn1s" for setting me straight on this.

Something like this would

Something like this would have been schedualed quite a bit in advance and would not be a suprise move. So, is this sudden, or do records somewhere say that its been planned for some time?

Also, the idea that you are going to block ships in is rediculous. Based on that alone I would have to say this is BS. That area where ships pass over the bridge tunnel is a good half mile wide at least, 50% more if you are being generous and risky. The only way you are going to block it is by filling it with a fleet of ships; and this fails to mention the fact that the bridge has another tunnel for ships to pass over and a high rise section.(although I dont remember if the high rise is all that wide, but it is certainly tall)

To climb the mountain, you must believe you can.

Be careful what you believe

I don't know about the other 4 but the Enterprise has been decommissioned because its too old. It is sitting there waiting to be stripped down and parts shipped off.

I know this because my Dad served in the Navy on the Enterprise in the late 60's and I went to the decommissioning ceremony last December in Norfolk, VA.

Oh boy, they must need a war really bad.

The coming economic collapse needs something else big enough to overshadow it.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

There's no shame in tolling bells for possibilites.

Especially if they can prevent another false-flag like Pearl Harbor.
