Liberty and the Cosmological Argument for God

I am a strong believer in the Cosmological Argument for God. In short, the argument contends that the universe was created by design, or as if someone designed it for us giving us clues inside His creation. I notice several things in life that I believe are clues to God like the cells in our bodies. Each cell is free and independent, cells come in many different makes and models and perform many different functions. The cells spontaneously organize and create different organs that struggle with one another but work together to take care of a greater organism than itself. Our cells creating our bodies in my eyes is a symbol from God representing us and Him. Humans work together as individuals freely associating into different religions, specific churches, all worshiping their God in different ways even though they compete and fight like the cells in our body. Another clue is what people call "A parents love". You've heard it a million times, "you don't know love until you have a child", "when you have a child you'll understand", or "there is no greater pain than losing a child". I believe this phenomena is a symbol of God's love in His design. The mathematical improbability of our galaxy and planet's conditions for life existing. The physical constants of our universe are very precise and if they were different our existence would be impossible. There are many many things that one could interpret as clues of God when you put on the right glasses.

I believe the clue from God of His existence that is of the most interest here is our personal sovereignty of choice and free will endowed in us by God. God created each of us as sovereign free individuals capable of making choices, good choices/bad choices/many choices. We each have the ability to achieve almost anything we set our mind to; whether the goal be achieving world peace or world domination we do have a choice. No other man can totally control us, they can provide incentives and do many thins to try to control behavior but total control of our God's Creation is impossible. We are created free, but nurtured into tyranny. We become slaves to our own sin. I believe that God and satan lives in each human being. We all have good and evil inside us, there is no purely good or purely bad person. We all sin and do wrong things and in my opinion this is why it is wrong for men to rule over other men. It goes without saying here that there are tyrannical individuals and groups of individuals wishing to control other men. Alone we cannot escape the control, but with God it is possible to be set free. As the good book says, "you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free".

I believe the truth is that I need God to achieve anything in life and I need the spirit of God that Jesus tells us lives inside us to help me fight this lobe rEVOLution of the hearts and minds of America. I believe God tells us we need him in the design as well. We are born infants totally dependent on someone else for survival. We must be cared for and brought into the world with guidance and teaching to lead us in the right direction, but our parents can't choose the best path for their child, at some point the child will begin to choose for them self what is best. This is God showing us that we are dependent on Him to achieve His will and the goals of the movement. We are given direction and guidance from different religions and our parents but in the end decide for ourselves what we believe about God and what is right or wrong. It is my opinion that in order to achieve freedom for all as God created us is to accept God and move forward with Him. America became great because it put freedom first and associated it's beginning knowing God to exist in each of us giving us all the same inalienable rights. I believe that only accepting God will the rEVOLution succeed over the evil ones who wish to control.

I cannot do it by myself, and we cannot do it alone. The world is never enough, we need God.

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

I have no doubt

the universe was created, the question is by whom or what. I don't think the creator necessarily has to be divine, maybe by our standards. I also don't think the creator necessarily had to create man or any other animal on this planet. It is quite reasonable to speculate that a creator created life and mechanisms for life to form/evolve and let it be seeded throughout the universe by natural processes. I am pretty sure that conventional religions on this planet are plain non-sense contrived to control.

The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government ... are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it-Andrew Jackson

I believe all religions have hints of truth

but have also been corrupted, misinterpreted/translated, and wrongly used for evil.

The way we were designed seems to be a message to us in my eyes.

Perspective is subjective

Are you actually you? Your ego, name, house car, whatever you use to define yourself is also "all in your head".

The rEVOLution is in all of our heads. No one can be certain either way if God truly exists, you cannot prove He doesn't exist, I cannot prove He does exist.

I do however offer clues that he Exists and so have many others. You only offer "it's all in your head". With the evidence here I'm going to side with exists over doesn't exist.

it is ALL in our heads! Yours AND Mine. I'm agnostic w/ god tho

But do you honestly think that if there WAS a god he wouldn't be as petty as he is made out to be in the bible?

I mean he created everything right?

So don't you think god would be above being "jealous", "angry", etc?

Those are human traits and and very becoming of a god imo.

Good post

Have you ever studied David Talbott......if not here is some of his work you may find as fascinating as I did.
