Gimme Back My Bullets

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIRZh_ZqdbI

Life is so strange when its changin', yes indeed
Well I've seen the hard times and the pressure's been on me
But I keep on workin' like the workin' man do
And I've got my act together, gonna walk all over you

Gimme back my bullets
Put 'em back where they belong
Ain't foolin' around 'cause I done had my fun
Ain't gonna see no more damage done
Gimme back my bullets

Been up and down since I turned seventeen
Well I've been on top, and then it seems I lost my dream
But I got it back, I'm feelin' better everyday
Tell all those pencil pushers, better get out of my way

Gimme back my bullets
Put 'em back where they belong
Ain't foolin' around 'cause I done had my fun
Ain't gonna see no more damage done
Gimme back my bullets

I got to bump a Skynyrd

I got to bump a Skynyrd thread....

*Wisconsin Constitution* Article I, Section 25 "The people have the right to keep and bear arms for security, defense, hunting, recreation or any other law-abiding purpose"

You can't mention Skynyrd.....

without mentioning "Free Bird". That song is a free mans anthem if one was ever written.

Late 70's Early 80's.

The absolute BEST music! Some really kick ass rides too. I had several cars between highschool and college..my favorite was a 77 Firebird Formula 400/ 4 barrel carb. I think gas was less than 50 cents for gallon. I would have never gotten rid of that car but it was destroyed in a wreck that was not my fault.

No maximum days missed in highschool. If you passed the tests...you got a grade. I skipped class 23 days in my accounting I class and still got a "B".

Drinking age was 18. DUI was rare. (cops would follow you home and warn you not to be on the road again or THEN he would bust you)

Lynyrd Skynyrd was/is some of the best drinkin, travelin, campin, music. 3 of my friends had fishing boats. Back then it was really radical to have a kick ass stereo in a boat. I think by the time I was driving we were on to cassettes (given up on 8 track)

Grew up in Orlando. I can't remember all the days we were headed to school and the next thing you know we were on the way to New Smyrna Beach. I would get all sun burned and when my Dad got home that night he would say...how was school today? Did you hold class outside? Whats wrong with you? Why don't you TRY? lol!

Rock ON!

Workin for MCA
That Smell
Down South Jukin
Freebird

Hell...they were all great!
