We've always been at war with Eastasia
Makes me want to cry at what are government is doing to them now.
that was 5 years ago, when our government was trying to woo Syria away from demonic Iran. It didn't work, because Assad became a brutal dictator, killing and torturing his own people, and Iran was sending death squads all over the world to kill innocent people and preparing to launch nuclear warheads to wipe Israel off the map. Thankfully, our government woke up to all horror and finally decided to do something about it. Thank God our government woke up before it was to late, and thankfully the media is now explaining that Assad is as bad as Hitler, so the people know that he burns women and children at the stake. Finally, we have intervened, and the Syrians will be saved.
then my sarcasm detector went off
most people have disabled their sarcasm detector. lol
on the political agendas of those that control the world..
Its always nice to hear that the people of other countries separate the actions of the US Gov't from the desires of us citizens, but I'm not as confident as I used to be that American citizens might be able to avoid blowback.
If I'm looking at the US from yeman or syria and I'm aware that the "people" of the US didn't even flinch as Obama claimed the right to kill any American on American Soil...I'd probably reason that any citizenry that was so unconcerned about the unrestrained power of the State doesn't deserve any consideration from me.
I sometimes wonder how incredibly sad it must be for outsiders to watch as the last beacon of freedom is systematically destroyed by a tiny group of usrpers while 300 million subjects just look around and scratch their a$$es! :(
I don't know who this person is (Sawyer), but it sounds as though she is being positive about a country that is not 'politically correct'--
it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--
The press are a fickle bunch.
