Rand Paul: It's not Our Business Where Israelis Build

I'm glad that Rand is taking such a strong stand for non interventionism. It's great that he doen't support interfering in the internal affairs of other nations.

I disagree as well

I don't care about foreign aid.

I say let's not release Israel from our strings until we've stopped fighting their wars, therein causing animosity towards us and getting our troops killed.

Israel is free to do as it likes, but not at the cost of our safety and civility.

And, we all know very well, who controls our government, MIC, media, banks, and justice system. We fight their wars. We send them money. We give them technology. Yeah! We own 'em! Each and every one of us gets up every day to work while having our paychecks slashed for something. What is that something? We should just start putting far more thought into it and stop worrying about being racist. It has nothing to do with racism. It has everything to do with NAP and self defense.

Rand and Israel

You are joking, of course. So while Israel takes U.S. dough, and Rand indefinitely postpones the day when that dough is cut off, he thinks the U.S. ought to have no input at all when Israel continues to drag the American name through the mud by association with its settler policies? That is non-intervention only in the Bizarro World, and you obviously know it, based on your careful wording which I'm sure you consider clever, but which is actually ridiculous.

Maybe I don't understand our system..

...but how exactly is one Senator supposed to single handedly cut off dough for Israel? So many folks here wish that people like Ron and Rand would just commit political suicide for issues they have absolutely no control over. You are probably part of the group who wanted Rand to alienate himself from the GOP by trashing the inevitable nominee Mitt Romney, another example of something Rand has no control over, yet you want him to say things in the media which will ensure he doesn't even get elected to the Senate again much less get the GOP nomination in 2016. Now I'm not saying I am sure Rand wouldn't pull a Reagan and end up just disappointing us all, but at the very least, can we understand that a little bit of political speech is necessary for any of our people to even get in the position to possibly let us down. There are tons of people in this movement who say exactly what we want to hear. Unfortunately those people say it in snarky comments on the DailyPaul because that lack of political tact only ensures that they don't ever get elected to anything.

Free market capitalism isn't right for America because it works better. It's right because it's free (and it works better).
