Pretty sure he's probably pissed off some people in big pharma...but this is incredible:

Very cool!

Very cool!

mycology lab, permaculture, austrian econ is just a school of

thought... it wont work if humans cant act.

A true flower can not blossom without sunlight and a true man can not live without love.

He's right

Most of us are underestimating what we can do, just with the internet as a research tool.

On a related note~ I know PLENTY of stories of patients who went to specialist after specialist seeking a diagnosis, only to find the answer for themselves via the internet. Sometimes, they were repeatedly given a wrong diagnosis by highly reputable specialists, and only when they did their own research and SUGGESTED to the doctors what the problem probably was did they make any headway.

And the same goes for seeking "alternative" cures on the internet. Granted you have to take the research seriously but never underestimate what you can find. I have overcome one "incurable" health problem just by using Google to find someone who cured themselves of the problem and wrote a book about her methods. I bought her book, did what she did, and am likewise cured.

Doctors can scoff all they want but I'm not bound to move up the learning curve at a snail's pace, making sure each approach is Medical Journal approved, just because they do it that way.

Super inspiring! He says it

Super inspiring! He says it only costs 3 cents. How much you want to bet it will be 100s of $$$ if it ever becomes available...and how long will it take to get to market? Medicine is about 17 years behind good research and technology, I have read.

But his back-story of curiosity and perseverance as well as freedom of the Internet leading to innovation is wonderful and inspiring. I especially love that he was sneaking a read in science class and came up with something brilliant instead of having his mind filled with high school crap.

Dorothy has left for home. She left this to cheer you up.

"I'm melting. I'm melting." - 10 seconds. Wicked Witch finished with science class.

If they would open up all studies and freely share the information imagine what other people would be able to do.

I know, education is archaic

I know, education is archaic and barbaric. Education and all types of schools would be better off if they only recorded the most effective lectures and video materials and provided that to students along with internet applications and resources. Maybe throw some kind of human education Sherpa to assist and prompt students when they get stuck...sort of a TA that did study groups. The current system reeks.

Thank you for this BEAUTIFUL post.

This is AMAZING!!!!

"We’ve moved beyond the Mises textbook. We’re running in the open market." - Erik Voorhees

note he did this

without a college degree, a high school diploma, and he ignored his teacher to do this research. I honestly wonder how many people asked him who he was, what he had accomplished when he was trying to solve this problem? Goes to show determination beats diploma every time.

Bravo! Quite a clever young cub.

3¢ is a low price point. Of course that did not include the $50 Ohm meter nor lab space. None the less, I am delighted to see this cub's perseverance.

I could go on about how detection of cancer would return to being of minor interest if we would take better care of ourselves. A pH test is similarly low cost. Testing our pH could detect poor pH balance in pretty much anything. Study the relationship of acid to base as related to health. Our civilized diet is way too high in acid. Low in base. Consider the difference between wild bunny food vs cereal-ized pet food.

A simple way to learn hunting & gathering healthy food is eat more bunny food. What the bunny eats naturally is quite nutritious without any preparation. Few would prefer eating a bunny raw... In less of course, you are smarter than the average bear. I could go on, but I won't.

Where does one get one of

Where does one get one of theses tests. Is anything being done to market them?

Not available yet.

Full story here. Several drug companies have "expressed interest." No word yet on whether their interest is in producing the test, or suppressing it.

So true.

I'd say that we need some 15-year old kid with a nose for business involved here, but it wouldn't matter. What the drug companies and FDA might not be able to suppress, the courts would.

Naw, big Pharma is happy

They will be able to give people their useless chemo treatments that much longer now - that will allow them to extract your families funds before you die.

The real money is in long lasting diseases that require expensive medication.

Real Money? Dr Ron Paul speaks in terms of "sound money."

It is much more profitable for each of us to be healthy & productive.

Providing extremely unhealthy sustenance with the hope of healthy change is a fools journey. Why must we pay for our own demise?

Balancing ones own pH is simpler & cheaper than not.

The Fed does not balance its own books, let alone yours.

As a nation

you and Dr. Paul are exactly correct, we are more profitable, the healthier we are.

But for big Pharma, and Big government that likes dependent citizens, chronic disease is the best thing possible. anything that will detect chronic or long term diseases earlier is good for them, and bad for us.

Pancreatic Cancer is perhaps the worst disease I know, with any potential cures being as bad as the disease.

Cancer may be our last ditch attempt to save our self.

Massive influx of blood is our bodies natural response to many ailments. High level of oxygen seems to defeat cancerous cells. Vitamin D3 is also important. Sunlight helps our own skin synthesis vitamin D3.

I take your points seriously. Take my sunlight with great pleasure. Try to minimize loss of blood.

Very inspiring. Decentralize medical research!

“Although it was the middle of winter, I finally realized that, within me, summer was inextinguishable.” — Albert Camus

He is right about the Internet, and that's why...

...the PTB are working to control or shutdown the Internet.

But let's trust that there are thousands of smart people like this young man who will (or have already) devise the technology to thwart any attempts at shutting down or controlling the Internet.

I'm showing this video to my homeschooled kids.

This kid is gonna get suspended. Isn't that what they do now to kids who good good deeds...;-)

Another win for the internet

We are the answer we've been looking for.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

Will not like this.

This is really amazing. thanks for sharing
