February 1st 2013 the entire parliamentary group of The Movement in the Icelandic Parliament, the Pirates of the EU; representatives from the Swedish Pirate Party, the former Secretary of State in Tunisia for Sport & Youth nominated Private Bradley Manning for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The founding concept of the Nobel Peace Prize has been hijacked and corrupted, to the point of being handed out as a badge of honor to the 'most' undeserving recipient 's. That's why, should this nomination be successful, it would be so profound and dramatically indicative of that
same corrupt policy, in the most extraordinary way.

Let's create a new prize called the Bradley Manning Prize, awarded each year for a non-violent act of courage against State oppression. Maybe the Daily Paul can organize this and the community can nominate and vote the winner each year. Michael, you up for this?
