Sedgwick, Maine Declares Food Sovereignty

"Sedgwick, Maine...unanimously passed an ordinance giving its citizens the right 'to produce, process, sell, purchase, and consume local foods of their choosing.' This includes raw milk, locally slaughtered meats, and just about anything else you can imagine. It’s also a decided bucking of state and federal laws."

While I thought the news was

While I thought the news was awesome; I hate to tell you that the comments to it are dated starting March of 2011. I wonder if it is still operating with Food Sovereignty or if the State shut it down.
