I don't want the government to be able to kill me.

That would really suck. How much would it suck to live in a country that allowed that?

This filibuster is really a historic Rubicon moment. Will the President respond? Will he stand down? How will he try to bowl over Rand?

Did you see that pathetic performance by Harry Reid: "Hey Rand, we'll trade you your unlimited talking time for a structured meeting where you'll have one hour?"

Thanks, but no thanks.

Depending on how this turns out, it may be time to start thinking very seriously about inching towards the exit, as in the Jews in 1934 Germany-style exit.

Rand's up there eating. Lol.

We all need fuel.

then you better make sure you are not an imminent threat or

standing next to one, because I think those are the rules that have been agreed upon thanks to Rand.

How about, we do not drop hellfire missiles in America period...unless war has been declared?

Michael don't forget your post a few months back

"I'm too old to run"

I may not be that old but I'm not going anywhere. This is our country and I'll defend it. They'll take my life or freedom before they take my country. Interesting movie to watch is "The Pianist". The whole time I was watching I was yelling at the Tv for them to unite and fight back. We can do that now through civil disobedience.

I am already on record.

I have volunteered to be the first American killed by drone on American soil. I have already given my life to this movement... might as well finish me off and besides that one act could hopefully be the "shot heard round the world" and perhaps we could finally get on with the restoration of the republic so my children can grow up in a free society where their government doesn't arbitrarily kill them.

So if I stop posting... it's prob time to start panicking...

In reality though... the story will prob be on page 25 in fine print and perhaps make the news cycle for about 48 hours and then I would be forgotten...

if you have free time Michael

if you have free time Michael Nystrom. print out 100 sheets of paper with two things written on it.

Leaked Document: Military Internment Camps in U.S to be Used for Political Dissidents

Youtube Channel: StormCloudsGathering

just hand out 100 sheets of that written on each paper. Go up to strangers on the street. Tell them about the army documents for concentration camps.

Get in their face, Sir.

i will do this friday or saturday.

And you know where a good place to go is? i will go on a college campus, but that's not the best place, the best place is the mall. just walk around the atrium and go up to people. the atmosphere is more subdued, so a normal voice will work wonders, an insistent voice will work miracles.

when you leave the country

when you leave the country and pull the plug on the dailypaul it will definitely feel like apocalypse mode.

Come on Michael

Somehow the defeated "Nazis", pummelled from all sides into an UNCONDITIONAL surrender crawled from the wood works to hijack all the central banks and political systems of every country.

Following is a translation of a short selection from Gottfried Feder’s KAMPF GEGEN DIE HOCHFINANZ (The Struggle Against Globalism), published in Munich in 1933.

Written in 1921 by the “German Federation to Abolish Interest Slavery” in conjunction with public debates on the economic crisis of those days, this selection is a summarizaion of DAS MANIFEST ZUR BRECHUNG DER ZINSKNECHTSCHAFT (Manifesto for the Abolition of Interest Slavery) which Feder had written in 1919.

Government agents have been

Government agents have been executing Americans for a long time. The United States did not invent the idea of killing its own citizens.

25% error rate

according to our own government. Oops, sorry we meant to get the other guy.

"Drone strikes are one of the most insane military creations in history. Many people don’t even see the problems with using them. Most people see them as a targeted way to kill bad people. The truth is, it’s not targeted. Leaked information specifically stated that more civilians are killed from drone strikes than terrorists.
Even according to the government report it’s disgusting. Up to 3461 people were reported killed by drone strikes. Up to 891 of them were reported civilians.
So… according to the government they have a 25% error rate. 25 out of 100 people that are killed aren’t involved in terrorism."

me too

That power is absolutely frightening. I'm now firmly supporting Rand 100%. His principles are awesome and he hasn't wavered on them a bit.

Rand Paul 2016

I secretly hope Ron runs on the Libertarian ticket too. Imagine that coalition!

I wish we could all be as brave and committed as Rand Paul

Do you agree with?

Rand statement that we consent to our governments actions with our voteing.

The creation, production and fair exchange of values is the business of evolving consciousness, love and life.--Craig Johnson

your vote only matters when

your vote only matters when there is a tie, and how often does that happen?

Didn't you learn anything thing from the primaries last year?

Your vote is whatever TPTB want it to be.

Ironic.

Yes, it would certainly be considered "implied consent" in a FAIR court of law. If you participate in a vote, it is assumed you will abide by the outcome. I am really proud of Rand, that is a big truth to spit out and it seems he has been earning brownies while I was busy. But what is the correct answer? I did not vote last time. My honest feeling right now is that a rogue government is holding tyrannical control over me without my consent, and I use the "I did not agree to ANY of you governing me" as my moral ground.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

No,

every politician I voted for did the opposite of what they said they would do when running for office. This is the excuse the insiders give to ease their conscious after screwing the public over, well they asked for it.

It goes WAY back both sides left and right same bird different wings.

Today is the day--

Praying for Rand.

Contacting senators; e-mailing friends who are Republicans; they might be neo-conservatives, but maybe they'll watch/listen.

Heaven help us.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

It's amazing to me how this is even a debate

How and why can due process of law be considered optional? When that's the case civilization is over. The question being debated is whether or not citizens have a right to their own life. Thought this was settled a long time ago. Amazing.

Well, the govt is always ABLE to kill.

But if the govt says it is allowed to kill you...UGH!

Do we live in the USSR?

I echo your comment: Gov is always ABLE

And Gov will almost always say it is ALLOWED as well..

It will always be up to the people to say it is NOT.

I think the first priority is to influence those that would be the direct participants of government killing. We need to inform, educate, influence the military, local police, sheriffs, DHS employees, drone pilots etc to be non-compliant. We also need to do the same with our local communities.

Ideas are powerful and our greatest defense.

Well it seems

we have always lived in that country only now they have it in writing.

Thanks, to Youtube and the internet I was finally made aware of the injustice of our country. I was very naive about what went on in my country now I can't claim that anymore.

My mom always said "ignorance is bliss", I guess she was right after all.

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

ha, yes (*droll laughter*)--

I'm kind of glad my parents aren't around to see this--

My dad was a Republican no matter what, but he loved his guns--

My mother was an 'ignorance is bliss' person--

They never had to deal with this kind of 'stuff'.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Sad that, the whole time our parents and we were fed this facade

of patriotism, justice, freedom (and that the US was uniquely better than any other country on Earth because of it BS), behinds the scenes, these evil schemers were actually hiding probably the most sinister and potentially most oppressive empire in human history. It was blind allegiance without accountability by the general public, that got us here today...plain and simple.

The other day, I just happened to stumble across a documentary about the huge tsunami which took place in Asia a few years back. As I watched, I was amazed at how many people just stood around on the beach, trying to grasp the magnitude of the situation, as the huge wave was rolling in on them. It was surprising to me how long it took for most of them to decide to run for their lives (heck, some didn't even run at all), while others seemed to sense right away and got to high ground as fast as they could.
I liken this antidote to the situation that we are in today in our country, where there are many still wandering around in the "ignorance is bliss" category, while a few of us scream at them from higher ground to wake up and act, before it's too late.

I pray that the message is starting to sink in!

"Liberty tastes sweetest to those who fight for it, and most bitter to those who work to deny it!"

the fed gov

has only signed their own death certificates
they cannot create any law at all, they do not have the authority
whatsoever,it was never given to them
they cannot sign a law, statute or ordinance,or even an EO
against the people of this nation
what they did do was create acts that go against them, and them alone
they signed the patriot act,the NDAA,and this is all on their own heads, not ours
they signed them, they are theirs to deal with, and when push comes to shove, their own laws will hang the lot of them, they have committed treason, and there are penalties for them actions
deacon

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

Please stop fomenting revolution

It is what the NWO wants, and by definition it guarantees only an eventual return to "where things started."

Tip for everyone: Alex Jones screaming "1776!" is a NWO ploy. Be smarter than to fall for that.

deacon's picture

excuse me?

fomenting a revolution?
am I or am I pointing out facts as they are written?
and i will stand on my words, and if you are confused you should read more, you see,you are attacking the wrong one here
what do you think the armored vehicles and a billion rounds
of ammo are for? it certainly isn't for a carnival
so just which side is fomenting what?
deacon

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

For shame

Seeking some "...their own death sentence" pretense of power legitimacy in order to address a perceived power threat is childish behavior.

Do you by any chance watch UFC/MMA?

deacon's picture

if you think they signed

yours and mine, then you are confused!!
they cannot create laws, did you read that part?
they work for us,that means we own them much the way slaves
have been owned
we pay them for their disservice, they are supposed to be our voice
do you really think it is the other way around?
the fed gov has no authority nor has it ever been given them to create laws that go against the will of the people
so if they do not have the authority and it has never been given to
them
and they create laws that go against our very laws, then they are guilty
and the ones who signed them bills have committed treason
but after reading your responses to me,i have this idea all you want to do is argue, and i will not engage you anymore on this topic
go read the constitution, then you might just know what i typed
have a nice day

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

Wow

You claim to own certain people? Well, then, I take back everything I said about you being childish. Ha.

Here's a free lesson: any constitution, any time at any place, represents merely a license to defraud.
