Tax Dollars

http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/photos/kidschoice.asp

Snopes chimed in with commentary about her clothing and the tax dollar issue while completely ignoring the security and transportation costs that are paid by tax dollars. A bit disingenuous I'd say.

Thanks for that Snopes link

I hate that kind of attack, rather, we should address her ideas that we disagree with.

Beside, I thought she look just fine in those designer donated clothes.

HOW VERY RUDE

THIS IS RACIST AND DISGUSTING TO SEE ON THE DP.

-I never saw posts like this when Laura Bush was 1st Lady and their spending is/was about the same.

Racist? Please.

If you never saw posts like this when Laura Bush was First Lady, a position in which you serve as a role model, likely it was because Laura never dressed in a revealing blouse and skin-tight leather jeans when attending children's events. (Surely neither did Hillary Clinton.) This "awards show" is for Nickelodeon viewers, who do the voting. Who are their viewers? Programming is primarily directed to girls 8-16 years old, with some pre-school programming directed to children 2-6.

But the inappropriate attire is just insult added to injury - the cost to American taxpayers to fund the outfits, accommodation, security, & transportation. Like Michelle Obama's having a role at the Academy Awards, no doubt the appearance at this Hollywood-promoting event was designed to curry favor with liberals. They're losing patience. Yesterday's headline at the Huffington Post: "GOP Senator Eviscerates Obama Drone Policy, Targeted Killings In John Brennan Filibuster... 'Are We Going To Give Up Our Rights To Politicians?'... 'Where Is The Barack Obama Of 2007?'" See also today's post: http://www.dailypaul.com/277245/liberal-actor-john-cusack-on...

Laura Bush could never have worn clothes like that

Because she couldn't fit into them or pull it off..

Pull it off???

And you think Michelle "pulled it off"...yeah, right.
Perhaps you never noticed but Laura Bush was shapely and most definitely could have pulled off that outfit. She felt no need to "flaunt it".
Laura is much smaller and weighs a lot less than Michelle if you are comparing "sizes"...LOL
Ever seen a picture of the two of them together?

so her fashion is immoral?

so that makes this post ok? hahaha what a joke!

you people are grasping at straws here.

Her fashion immoral? It was inappropriate for the occasion.

What's immoral isn't the fashion but exorbitant cost to Americans taxpayers - no less to help promote Hollywood/Hollywood celebrities, no less for Michelle "We have a children's obesity problem in America" Obama to be helping to promote what greatly contributes to the obesity problem: the hours each day children SIT in front of a screen watching tv & movies. [I don't mean to imply that the effect on physical health is the only deleterious effect of our children's obsession with media.] The inappropriateness of the outfit to the occasion, the cost to taxpayers, and the overt hypocrisy is what makes this post "not racist." I'd be interested to hear if you have anything to support your accusation besides raising the irrelevant issue of Laura Bush's more conservative outfits not having inspired any Daily Paul posts.

Not racist.

Plenty of white women don't know how to dress, either. It's also not the amount spent that is relevant.

BUT this post isn't about white women

it's about a "hoochie mamma" which IS RACIST.

Also, this is CLEARLY about $$$ as well, so you are wrong about that too

After reading you reply, I wonder if you are saw the same thing I did...or maybe you are blind, ignorant, racist, and just don't see it??

No, it's not about money,

it's about the sad sight of a First Lady in her 40's appearing in public looking like a 20 year old prostitute.

Maybe we should throw in a few white hoochies to appease your PC

radar?

The word doesn't belong to blacks. It has been around for a long time and has meant pretty much the same thing even as it was taken from other words.

She looks like a hoochie momma.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.

I can assure you

there are white "hoochie mammas" - even in my neighborhood - just check out Walmart.
It's not about money - it's about fashion taste.
People always have and always will note the best/worst dressed categories so it's not about race either.
Can anything negative be said about the Obamas that one is not accused of being "racist"????

Can we not stick to the issue at hand?

I have made my points. Ignore them if you want.

And obviously NO. Criticism of Obama does NOT = racism.

"Criticism of Obama does NOT = racism."

Yes it does to liberals like you.. you say "no" but you look for every opportunity to use it.

whatever dude! hahaha

.

Why would a woman her age

want to go out in public looking like a prostitute? There is something really wrong in her life.

Judge much?

LUKE 6:37

Yes, I am judging.

The scripture you proffer, "Do not judge and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.....For with what measure you use, it will be measured to you" and Matthew 6:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you"

Many people who quote these passages only see the first few words, and not the rest of the context. What this is talking about is not judging hypocritically, not merely the act of judging.

These verses also have to be taken in context with the entire Bible, if you want to know what they mean. The Bible is full of judging, in case you hadn't noticed.

As it happens, I am not judging Mrs Obama's outfit hypocritically, because I know what it is that she is doing (it's not hard to discern), and I do not do that, nor do I feel any need to.

There is something wrong,

probably his preference for older white males.

Or males in general.

Mrs Obama is not loved by her husband.

Someone please explain to me

how this kinda stuff is tolerated being put on the white house expense account?

Let me ask you this, Vince:

how much of this can you take? Been trying to understand why people aren't as mad as I am.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Our vitriol only fuels her sense of entitlement.

Not defending her by any means, just pointing this out

RON PAUL 2012

This is not a good example for children.

It is promoting Hollywood values, too much emphasis on appearance and EGO when this world needs more emphasis on the higher values of caring, compassion, wisdom, and common sense.

In God's name, the world is at war and many living in poverty. Some common sense, please. All this emphasis on clothes is adolescent.

Gosh...

Discussing this:
29 Ovations
is not kosher, but all the name calling in this thread is fine?

...[look of bewilderment]...hmmm.

What a disgusting sight; that

What a disgusting sight; that sick creature Netanyahu standing in the US congress, and proclaiming that "The US has no better friend than Israel" to standing ovation.

I know, right?

Why can't Americans talk about this? [rhetorical - we all know why] It is blaring treason. I actually feel bad for MN. He has to make the choice when to censor anything that comes close to upsetting the adl-splc cohorts.

Looks like Americas

first skanky bitch to me. Cause she is no LADY.
