I disagree with Rand and CNN. Hear me out first...

What CNN and Rand basically said is that the government could blow up Times Square because a person is trying to blow up Times Square.

Drones are not precise weaponry used to eliminate a single target in a crowd of people without causing major collateral damage.

Also, a drone missile would certainly discharge a bomb. So why would the government want to make the damage far worse?

That is a horrendous example and CNN along with the Senator should know better.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

Exactly, so why isn't Rand saying those words thatyou just said?

It seems like he is only half way there on this issue. And has it become an issue just to get popular buy-in?

Times Square bomber?

Did I misunderstand the anchor, or did she just advocate shooting a hellfire missile into one of the most crowded areas in America? Seriously, these guys are insane.

Save them all by killing them

It makes complete sense.

It reminds me of Team America

They blow up Paris to save them from WMD's.
America Fuck Yeah!

Was thinking the same exact thing

You just happened to get your comment in first.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

Wasn't the Times Square

Wasn't the Times Square Bomber set up by the Feds with a fake detonator? So with that being known, does he still justify a drone strike?

I have been critical of Rand

... but he has really stepped up on this issue and is playing it about as well as you could, really proud of that guy right now :)

Yah, but why is it OK to drop a missile on Time Square?

How many innocent people will be killed in Times Square if a missile is dropped? That same line of thinking was bothering me about a "combatant" in a cafe. A missile doesn't take out a single person, the whole cafe will be lit up. Is that OK? I think we are talking about the wrong things here.

I love how he is widening the

I love how he is widening the awareness and the debate without them even knowing it. Walking down paths, sitting in cars, driving down roads, sitting in a building next door to a targeted suspect. Keep it up Rand...you are truly playing chess with these evil bastards. The same standards of respect for human life as we follow here should be followed overseas as well. Obviously the enemy shooting at us on the battlefield should be blasted by our weapons.

Truth before all else.....it is what will allow us to emerge with dignity and honor.

Oh Christ, not Dana Bash.

She's another cow who should be put our to pasture.

Resist the temptation to feed the trolls.

Love reading up on these reporters

"Bash was involved in a number of controversies concerning Ron Paul"

Bash is the daughter of Stu Schwartz, an ABC News producer who is currently the senior broadcast producer of ABC News, based at Good Morning America.

Small world.

Not impressed.

Most of these "domestic terror" attacks turn out to be dupes set up by the FBI. Rand would have gotten triple brownie points for bringing that up.
No American has been injured in these "foiled bomb plots." Instead, the person is apprehended, and something vaguely resembling justice is served. Rand would have gotten a brownie point for pointing that out.
Instead, Rand agrees that it would be OK to use a drone to take out a man - and who knows how many innocent bystanders? Rand seems to comfy with "collateral damage" on American soil to suit me.
And never mind that the drone would have no more knowledge than the FBI gives it, so it could not know any sooner than a human that someone was planning an attack. The drone hunted for Dorner AFTER he allegedly committed his crimes, it did not prevent them.
Rand also seems to think drones in Pakistan are OK.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

What or who do you have better than Rand?

What a great opportunity Rand has given you to educate people about "dupes", and injustice, by fillerbusting an issue based on constitutional law. Even some of his enemies within the GOP were impressed by his capitalizing on a moment and sticking to the subject.. who has done better than Rand on hemp? Who is doing better than Rand in MSM attention and giving people something to think about, and those who know so much more, the ability to teach even more. Rand was vidicated, and you're not impressed...

I bet you Ron is impressed. I'm grateful. But more than that.. I'm curious.. who have you got doing more and better than Rand Paul POLITICALLY?

No one. Exactly my point.

No one is "good enough" to rule over me. Or you. You choose someone that you feel deserves to rule over you, so I would not dream of interfering with your right to choose to be governed. But, governments draw their JUST power from the CONSENT of the governed... or something like that. I'm a little rusty on my preamble these days.
The power being wielded is not just, it is tyrannical. I do not consent.
Politically, you may be right. Although I find Amash more promising than Rand, but for the sake of argument, I'll say Rand is the best thing the liberty movement, GOP, and libertarians have going. If that is the case, it is time to give up on the liberty movement, GOP and libertarians. It is time to self govern, because only then can any semblance of law and justice come back into this world.
Rand is fine with drones in Pakistan. I am so not fine with that. I just don't see Ron being proud of that, either, but I can't ask him, maybe I'm wrong.

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.

I never thought in those terms

I don't get that Rand is fine witgh drones anywhere, just as I don't suspect anyone is happy with a chain tangled up in knots, and as great as it would be to have the entire chain detangle effortlessly, the reality is, what Rand did is a step in the right direction, and that should be applauded and encouraged so it can spread to other areas.

Here's a better question

Why do you appear to believe that you cannot survive outside the Skinner Box?

I can survive outside the skinner box did it for 33 years

And for all the work, all the petitions, letters, rally's protests, marches, art in, sit in, stand ins.. the magazine and newspaper articles, the books, the awards, certificates, and memories.. I have acomplished more in te two years as a Republican.. I'm not going to knock my past outside the skiner box, after all, it prepared me to operate within the skinner box with confidense and determination.

That's interesting

Don't run into many people who actively seek out re-ignoranting themselves with hopes of attaining that elusive bliss.

Tell me, have you found a dear leader yet? Let me guess...

I have found a dear leader

my heart.

In Turkey bash might get two camels for trade.
