If Lame McCain and Leslie Graham support drone warfare

Hit 'em with HellFire!

Hit 'em with HellFire!

Does that make you better than them?

If so, this movement to restore principle will be stuck for a long time.

Please tell me you are NOT in the Military or Police. Oh My.

Lighten up base1

I was writing figuratively, not literally suggesting use of a Hellfire missile.

Figuratively, Graham and McCain can be "struck" with ideological missiles, "attacked" at the ballot box and, with widespread dissatisfaction, defeated and doomed to eternal damnation in the infernal fire of political Hades.

Please, please tell me you are not a word police. ; )
And no, that doesn't make you better than me or vice versa.

RNC corruption runs so deep

.:. We The People must cast off the chains of fiat currency, usury, and world banking.

• REJECT Central Banking

Usury is not the problem.

Being indebted and paying interest is a problem especially for Congress. They haven't been financially responsible as a body in over 220 years.

That's why Congress loves their Central Bank. They let Congress borrow in our name, and we cannot question their debts.

The myth of majority rule might explain we the people accepted this yoke for government's benefit.

Free includes debt-free!

I completely agree!

But do you not think that many have come to that understanding BECAUSE they have been 'voting their conscience' thinking it would make a difference?

What better gathering would one find in todays world to find a target rich environment that 'thinks' it has freedom but KNOWS something is wrong?

Evidence of a game change is...

Rush Limbaugh getting on the Rand Paul bandwagon. Limbaugh has been a big supporter of the Patriot Act, warrantless wiretapping, indefinite detentions of U.S. citizens, Homeland Security, etc., so when he feels he has to support Rand Paul, there's been a change in the game. It is only since then that people that RESPECT FREEDOM of enough numbers have come together to make a difference in the world of the political establishment of the USA.

There is still a long way to go to change the 'culture' of America that has been deceived by the printing of dollars and the media brainwashing.

That said, Yesterday was a milestone in education. The mere fact that it is being discussed at length is monumental.

Remember, it's not about them, it's about us.

I checked the democratic underground today

You're about 25% right. Lots of agreement, but also lots of rallying behind the party flag. I think the media drives 99% of debates and I don't expect this one to be any different. I wonder what they'll do to convince people we "need" to kill an American in America

I think the convincing has been done and some of us don't

realize it. That convincing is called "imminent threat." From what I am understanding Rand Paul says that someone in Times Square who is an imminent threat can be taken out with a drone. My question is…why are we asking if we can drop hellfire missiles on Boston cafes and Times Square just because someone there is an imminent threat? What about all the innocent Americans who are in those areas?

When bombers came out in WWII, did our congress debate whether American citizens could be bombed with bombs from an airplane? Why are we asking those questions now?

Were Waco and Ruby Ridge imminent threats?

Honestly, something is not sitting right with me on this one. Do you have any thoughts that could help me out?

Least we forget Terri Schiavo

From Foriegn Aid, to military

From Foriegn Aid, to military aid for Egypt, to this matter ...Rand is shining the light on the Bill Kristol/Neocon wing of the party inside and outside the halls of power for all the rank and file within the Conservative movement to see.In Sun Tsu style, this is nothing short of a calculated war for the heart and soul of the GOP and Conservative movement.

March 6th, 2013 - The day the first preverbial political "shot" was fired in The American Spring

What is different?

I don't think anything has changed. Washington DC is still corrupt, Obama still plans on flying killer drones over our heads, and Brennan will still be director of the CIA.

Unforeseen unification, my friend.

This type of event was sorely needed. It was a game changer. Many new variables have been introduced into the equation and where we go from here is anybody's guess. It seems that a little bit of reorganization is taking place throughout because of this issue and event. It's a major step in the right direction. We can't expect to reverse the machine overnight. I believe the future will look back upon this moment with similar sentiments.

Explain, how was this a game

Explain, how was this a game changer? I don't see it.

I think one of the key elements is that

this incident has forced many people to choose which side they are on, freedom or tyranny. As we now see there are a group of establishment RINO's that have a new spotlight shining on their corrupted agendas (hello McCain, hello Graham). Also, I see many individuals who were once thought not to be on board with the movement, now bonding with our sentiment (Rush?, etc.). What Rand did, set into motion a chain of events that has allowed for what is probably the highest peak of unification, in the way of numbers, the liberty movement has experienced thus far. It's a subtle difference, yet a key transition, which in my personal view is likely going to stimulate actions that otherwise would never have taken place. Exactly what these things might be is anyone's guess. Call me an optimist but my gut feeling is that we've just witnessed a game changer. There isn't much hard evidence yet to point to, but for me, it seems like the currents are shifting a little bit to our favor.

it gets people talking

and nothing would change without that.

Taking a stand on principle...

in spite of the odds against you, has always been a force for good in the world. Check out this post, "Rand Paul: One person can make a difference"

While I Appreciate...

...the focus on the drone-strike issue that Rand's filibuster brought, what exactly do you believe has or will change reference our predatory globalist-collectivist government, due to that filibuster?

I see champagne corks popping all around and adulation as if some great victory has been achieved, but I must ask...did I miss some rollback or some sea-change?

I know one thing that has changed:

many people who did not know/understand Rand Paul, now do. Depending on where those people get their information, this is probably one of those "good" publicity stunts.

Rand said it in his own filibustering: "The reason [for the filibuster] is to raise awareness on the drone issue."

And we don't pop champagne anymore. We light the victory blunt....Well, maybe that's just my wife and I.

I'm not trying to antagonize you, but what do you think is the best course of action for the Liberty Movement? I'm always fishing for new and/or better ideas.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Elect a freakin constitutional sheriff for crying out loud!!!

what do you think is the best course of action for the Liberty Movement?

Hey Vince

I was trying to have a friendly debate with this guy and ask him what his solutions were since he didn't provide any himself.

Your replies to myself have been very nasty lately, Vince. What's your problem?

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.
