Ron Paul was "scheduled" by the pollsters to come in LAST in Nevada...but somehow...we pulled off a kind of upset by finishing 2nd. There's a reason for it. Do you know what it is?
It wasn't a million sign-wavings, the enormity of numbers in meetup groups.... it was a new program unveiled a couple weeks ago by the campaign called the PRECINT LEADER PROGRAM.
The Precinct Leader Program has been quietly getting votes for Ron Paul from every candidate. Very simply, we're the only ones going door to door nationwide to reach out to individual voters, and that's why we did so well.
You'll notice a trend in Straw Polls from early in the election season. Ron Paul would place last, if at all, but then suddenly he started winning...ALL OF THEM! I see the same thing happening now with the Primaries. Ron Paul is definitely rising, and it's time for us to do everything necessary to ensure a first place accorss the board finish on Super Tuesday.

Yes, this is the only way to win votes for Ron Paul. The MSM is not going to do it for us, exactly the opposite. It is our job at the local level to get these votes.

If everyone of us does not do this we can not win. This is a fight, it takes hard tedious work. Did anybody really think that changing and educating an entire nation would be easy. IF YOU don't become a PRECINT CAPTAIN we will fail and this chance may be gone FOREVER.

Sorry you don't understand statistics
The only thing odd Polls vs results was really Romney. His result was about 3 standard deviations from expected (Mormon vote wasn't in the sampled at 25% no doubt more like 7%).
Everyone else was statistical tied that is their error bars overlapped.
Even in NH where everyone said the polls were wrong for the Dems, 9% is again within the error bars of a 4.5% margin poll.
Events inside 1 Standard Dev occur about 60% of the time, 2, 95%, 3, 99.7%.
Romney at > 3 means the sample did not represent the vote at all (systematic error). Paul in second, well even for the polls that have 14% outside 1 standard dev, that is about 35% likely. I don't consider that, very unusual.

I felt discouraged after NH, then I remembered my 01st BMTS motto, Lead , follow, or get out of the way. Registered as a precinct leader and went door to door yesterday - felt really awkard the first 5 doors I knocked on, but after that it was not hard at all, and found most people receptive.
In about 50 houses we covered yesterday, we (son and I) identified 3 100% paul supporters that we will be calling on Feb 5th, we also identified 10 or so that had heard "mostly good things" about Dr. Paul. I would imagine our visit might have helped seal the deal for some of them.....
