Will the next pope be a NWO socialist?
Submitted by McClarinJ on Fri, 03/08/2013 - 19:00The next Catholic pope will be the final pope according to the centuries-old prophecy of St. Malachy, and he will be known as Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman). Consequently, those disposed to credit the prophecy have taken a look at Catholic cardinals named Peter.
One such is Cardinal Peter Turkson of Ghana, considered to be "papable" by church authorities. He studied and held positions in the US before returning to Ghana where he was made bishop, then cardinal. Along the way he seems to have been infected with socialism. From Wikipedia:
In October 2011 Cardinal Turkson called for the establishment of a “global public authority” and a “central world bank” to rule over financial institutions that have become outdated and often ineffective in dealing fairly with crises. The document, Towards Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of a Global Public Authority was very specific, calling for taxation measures on financial transactions. It notes that “The economic and financial crisis which the world is going through calls everyone, individuals and peoples, to examine in depth the principles and the cultural and moral values at the basis of social coexistence,” it said. The document condemned what it called “the idolatry of the market” as well as a “neo-liberal thinking” that it said looked exclusively at technical solutions to economic problems. “In fact, the crisis has revealed behaviours like selfishness, collective greed and hoarding of goods on a great scale,” it said, adding that world economics needed an “ethic of solidarity” among rich and poor nations.
It certainly sounds like Turkson would gladly help usher in the New World Order. Whether he is known to anyone as "Peter the Roman" I haven't been able to find out.
Another possibility that would more closely fit Malachy's prophecy is Cardinal Tarcisio Pietro Evasio Bertone, born in Romano Canavese, Italy. He is said to be politically powerful and has conducted most of the affairs of the Vatican in recent years, however he is not regarded by many as papable since he speaks neither English nor French and he has made too many enemies.

Catholic means Universal
The Catholic Chuch has been global since it was conceived. One of the things that become clear as a catholic is that governments come and go. Money changing problems don't go away, and because the Chruch is universal, it would make it easier on the Church if the money was global.. but it would never attempt to dictate to the world what the world should do. rather it would do it's best to provide a house of worship, communion, councel than be a target for those who want to rule the world.
STAND WITH RAND 2016
who cares....
...it's not a biblical office, of any authority ...
The NWO will dismiss his words/advice/authority/influence or whatever, just as non-Catholics the planet over....

He won't get the job
He wants it too badly. I extremely doubt he has ill intentions, he's probably just bad at economics, like most people.
20 years from now
Catholic Church will not be what it is today imo. What I see at mass when I go...steady declining assembly. Even with tax free status, the bills will be too much. I think that in the West it is over, the Southern Hemisphere will adopt the Catholic traditions.
People do not want to make the time and effort. The public schools have been made much ground. They will only seek out Catholics and likewise when they will need the money and make the necessary accomodations as hypocrites do.
donvino
they have been for a while
they have been for a while now.
Oh how I wonder, oh how I worry
And I would dearly like to know
How all this squander of earthly plunder
will leave us anything to show
Guess we just have
to wait and see.
