Powerful short video:
killing more people than the drive-by's."
This comment could also apply to the Big Pharma drive-thru's at Walgreen's?
Is there any better way to beat the Fed. Beautiful!
Awesome! This is what it is all about! Freedom through gardening! revolution is breaking out on so many fronts!
End The Fat
70 pounds lost and counting! Get in shape for the revolution!
lol, j/k. It's obviously not a cult.
Some of the greatest ideas ever come out of TED. Many are libertarian like this one. Some are egalitarian or statist, but they're mostly just about how the individuals can learn or work together to make their world a better place.
It made me want to overgrow in my apartment complex. But then I looked over my lease and saw all the pesticides they spray.
But I found out talking to my son, at his school they have some open land and they are thinking about planting a garden.
I'm there 100%.
That would be really cool!
"If you want to meet with me come to the garden with your shovel so we can plant some shit."
He is making a beautiful difference in this world. This was also done in Cuba when the people were starving.
this is so awesome... I need to find some land lol
I've often thought if America would get back to its agrarian roots we wouldn't have half the social or economic problems we see today. Thanks for the post, now go plant some shit!
The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government ... are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it-Andrew Jackson
Tomatoes with that much land? This guy should get real and raise protein. Cows, chickens, turkey, and pigs.
Why does Alex Jones insert a "submit to fear" subliminal message in his movies?
Ever been to L.A. ?
YOU need to get real, Paleo breath!
I saw a big empty lot that was right next to one of his little garden strips. He should get permission from the city/owners to remove the concrete and at least add a colony of chickens. It already had the fencing :)
The owner of the property will have to remove the concrete anyway if they want to build a building there. Or maybe they could add soil on top of the concrete?
I drove by some beautiful cows on my way back to the city; after a long day of door knocking for a local candidate. Man I gatta get a steak and chow down, I mean so I can have Paleo breath.
The fact that vacant areas/lots in the LA area alone can be converted into growing enough tomatoes for everyone on the planet should give those terrorists who think the planet is over populated a heart attack...
Thanks, really enjoyed the video! Have been working daily on our garden when the weather permits! Here is another inspirational video about a whole town growing their own food!

"We must change the composition of the soil."
There is a great organisation here in Austin called Urban Roots. It gets kids who would normally be "at risk" and turns them onto gardening. It not only teaches them how to garden from seed to harvest, it teaches them how to bring their product to market and what all that entails. Max Elliot (Executive Director) is a lot like this guy. He is a true revolutionary.
If you want to support an organisation like this (even from afar) they could always use the help.
is that it has to be sustained"
Love this guy.
Also, I highly recommend this book:
“With laws shall our land be built up, but with lawlessness laid waste.”
An artist of the earth.
...that was manufactured for me by some other people...
So I created my own reality."
"Free is not sustainable."
"If kids grow kale, kids eat kale."
"Grab a shovel, and let that be your weapon of choice."
"Free is not sustainable...
The thing about sustainable is, you have to sustain it!"
LOL. So true.
Those other quotes are awesome too.
What an incredible perspective, and incredible action, from an incredible man. Thank you for the book link above also Ed.
The best one of all.
are killing more people than the drive-by's."
Clay seed balls. Make some that consist of seeds that will be hardy in your zone.
Next time you go to a park or even weed patches around town, toss your seed balls around.
This is the article that got my posting privileges revoked:
The strongest act of enlightened disengagement is to stop the need to purchase your food with false debt issue digitized fiat usury money from criminals.
The challenge of gardening is planning and thinking ahead, timming and being patient. Caring for and respecting not only the plants but the soil, the insects, with out a bee your garden is dead, but all insects, instead of buying poisons to kill bugs use them guide them make them help your garden.
Not only what you sow is what you reap but how you care for it matters. Make a food growing plan and follow it.
"Money DOES grow on trees."
