Jim Sinclair says the bottom is near.

I consider this one of the most reliable sources for insight into the metals markets. He does not say a certain price is the bottom, he says there have never been more market indicators of a bottom than are in place now, and that 2013 is the year the manipulation piper will demand to be paid. In a field rife with wild speculation, Sinclair is one of the most reserved, conservative voices. What he has to say today is quite remarkable.

Sort of funny, I just found out today he worked with the Hunt brothers... no wonder he's a silver bug! It has probably been in his bio all along, I just have not read his bio for a long time, and probably did not appreciate the significance the first time.

I think the last chance at 27 is this one.. (next week btw..)

Then I will be looking for low 30´s to buy more if I can afford it in a couple of months..

I suspect that silver will be making some moves soon. (Just guessing folks..)

I try to change people every day. Do You?

I'll believe it when I see it

Sinclair has been calling for a bottom in precious metal prices for two months.
The paper pushers still control the price.

That's funny

I can picture him advising the Hunt brothers.

"Just keep buying it up. Nothing bad can happen."

Well, that would be funny except that is not what he did.

One click of the link would have robbed you of your laugh, so I don't begrudge you commenting in ignorance. For those interested actual facts, this was Sinclair's role:
"From 1981 to 1984, Mr. Sinclair served as a Precious Metals Advisor to Hunt Oil and the Hunt family for the liquidation of their silver position as a prerequisite for the $1 billion loan arranged by the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Paul Volker."

Yes, ignorance

I didn't click the link at all, just drive-by tongue-in-cheek stuff. I am a big Sinclair fan.

I've been guilty of

drive by smart a$$ery myself. The reality is interesting, isn't it? Jim Sinclair sitting around telling the Hunt brothers, "No, you are right. But you are not allowed to be THAT right..."

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Jim Sinclair is Mr. Gold.

Thanks, fishy.
I'll post this also in the metal thread.
