The Keyboard is Mightier than the DroneSubmitted by No.7 on Sat, 03/09/2013 - 23:43
Rand Paul didn't cause such a stir all by himself. While he bore the brunt of the load, We the People had quite an impact on the attention Dr. Paul received using our keyboards and cell phones. I believe that without such an outpouring of interest and support through information technology the effects of Rand's filibuster wouldn't have had such an impact. Look at what we helped accomplish with our keyboards; Rush Limbaugh, Chris Mathews, and many others are embracing the message of liberty and spreading it across the land. In my opinion such support of the unstoppable idea that is liberty is an encouraging sign of good things to come. This is because our keyboards are our most dangerous weapon to the assault on our Constitution, Liberty, and Property being perpetrated by the powers that be.
The establishment that seeks to destroy our inalienable Rights has mighty weapons like drones, tanks, machine guns, bombs, and robots that run people down. However, nothing they have can compete with our most powerful weapon, words, and our nearly unlimited avenues to use those words as weapons in the fight for liberty. We still have the freedom to say whatever it is we want to say, no matter what any Government official says, words can never be violent, words cannot hurt anyone, and no one can can constitutionally be punished for words unless they incite a riot or make a direct serious threat to another's safety. As long as you are only using words to attack the Government, you are not and can never be an imminent threat to the Government. We have to rights to say what they don't like, and it's their job to protect that right.
With information technology we can all be modern Paul Reveres riding horses named Microsoft, Macintosh, Sprint, Verizon, AT&T and so on. Keep posting, tweeting, emailing, and wording it up for liberty. Encourage others to do the same. This idea and our words cannot be stopped!
