My Feelings Toward Rand, Ron, Others in Office, and the Duopoly that Exists.

Some of you may possibly misinterpret my previous posts.

Rand, so far, is one the best Senators that we have. I am very proud of him for some of the things that he has done, and I am sure that he will continue to do so. We need more like him. There are, however, things that I disagree with.

This is an ideological battle, to change the hearts and minds of the American people. For doing what is right is not only for us here at home, but for all human beings around the world. While it may be beneficial and exciting to win a term of presidency, it will serve no purpose if the masses do not understand, and then decide to replace him/her in 2020. Or if we do not have enough representatives in our states to effect the change that we seek.

There is the money-bomb, which I was proud to contribute to Ron Paul. But where has that got us? Many here will complain that the money was not ‘allocated’ properly, or that it had no impact on the overall election [that is another topic for discussion].

If gop/rnc is serious about winning this time and want/need our support to win, a Liberty candidate WILL be well funded. If gop/rnc is NOT serious, and this is merely a ‘game’, then like the last time this will be moot. Meantime, I will use whatever precious frn’s that I have to work in my area and promote the values that I hold dear.

I think that some of you may be worried that you may be stabbing Ron or Rand in the back if you do not throw your support behind Rand. I do not feel this way. It is their OATH, their JOB, to represent us by defending and protecting the Constitution. They are being paid VERY good frn’s to do so. If whatever representative fails us, it is up to us to replace him/her. For the record, I DO applaud Rand for his extraordinary filibuster. I have been talking to many people about Rand, but also furthering my concerns to raise more awareness. The gop/rnc will catch on, IF they are serious, and understand our position. They may act stupid, but they are not.

Hold feet to the fire, including Rand’s, Justin’s, Ted’s and others who we happen to support. Do not sacrifice what Ron, and many of us, have and continue to work so hard to do. Msm and the sheeple have a lot of waking up to do. If we stand strong and proud, and if they are serious about winning, we will be heard. Otherwise, let the duopoly die.

Here is how I will be able to tell if gop/rnc is serious about a win: when they not only talk about these issues and talk about supporting Rand, but actually getting on board and making accomplishments pertaining to *hard policy*, ie: defend and protect the Constitution. Otherwise those words will be meaningless to me.

PS: *ALL* of our Liberty people need to be brought to the forefront – not just Rand.

Remember remember before November :-)

Imagine 1000's of Liberty Candidates

Resisting the Federal Power of Attorneys (aka Representatives) at the Local Level.

Imagine 1000's of Sheriffs that take on the Role of Right Enforcement rather than Arbitrary Law Enforcement.

Imagine County School Systems, Locally Funded and Locally Benefited, whose mandate is to compliment a Parent's responsibility to raise their children to Self Reliance rather than raising them into Monopolized Dependence.

Put your Money(bomb) where your Local Mouths are. If we have 1000's of Local Liberty Officials saying NO to 535 voices that are far away, we will have reversed the Power paradigm.

Power does come from Consent so guard your Consent by being able to drive to the offices of those whom you give it to.

bravo

"Hold feet to the fire, including Rand’s, Justin’s, Ted’s and others who we happen to support. Do not sacrifice what Ron, and many of us, have and continue to work so hard to do."

Agreed. People didn't hold Obama's feet to the fire which is why we are still killing people all over the world, still have warrantless wire tapping, still have Guantamano, still have the patriot act, etc, etc. In fact when he got into office he basically said, now make me do this stuff and the people scattered and did nothing. SO, thanks to Rand for finally bringing it to the forefront.

Anybody who thinks they can just put someone in office who is saying the right things without following through to making sure they also do the right things is going to be disappointed. Or perhaps we just make sure we have a tag team- those good at promoting and those good at enforcing.

I think the party system is seriously deficient and detrimental in the enforcing part. Republicans just follow along with Republicans who are just plain doing wrong--- Rand endorsing Romney is case in point. The Dems do the same. It helps no one.

So let us be the lit grass going across the plains.

Constructive criticism...

is an essential tool for pressuring candidates to adopt principled stands that reflect the enumerated powers doctrine and Bill of Rights, in particular the tenth amendment that gives all powers not specifically granted to the Federal government to the States. And I think that's part of what this post is saying so I support the message.

The left/right paradigm has been crafted to leave citizens with a choice between two evils, but that doesn't mean it will always be that way. Keep fighting for your rights, we have nothing to lose but more of our freedom.

I like the way you think, PAF!

Thank you. Excellent points.

I remember during the that there were people on here talking about donating blood to raise money for the Ron Paul moneybombs.

I hope no one is so misguided as to do that again.

All art is only done by the individual. The individual is all you ever have, and all schools only serve to classify their members as failures. E.H.

Hey, that's me you're talking about :0)

I did suggest that people take the money they'd get from donating blood & donate it to the moneybombs, or that a group of people go to the blood bank & do their donation in Ron's name. That could have generated some good publicity!

Yes, I get out there with my ideas, but that's how I am :0)

** Instant pudding???? **

I am going to have to send a nicely written letter to that woman and set her straight. We must hold ALL chefs, present and future, accountable!

The entire Paul family is one to be admired, and modeled after. And for the record, I just love Carol :-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

The Oval Office

Is not the beat all end all to our problems, but just having another libertarian candidate in nationally televised debates is huge. Imagine getting one of our guys the GOP nomination and in presidential debates. The potential for bringing the conversation our way is huge. Rand is walking a dangerous rope, trying to keep the message pure while also trying not to shove the message like a bull in a china shop. I think the goal is to gradually let people come to the conclusion liberty is the answer by their own thought process, not just telling them. Rand I think is a very skillful chess player, I just hope it doesn't blow up in his face. The good thing is the powers that be through all their legislation and manipulation of the economy are shoving people our way, we have to be ready to greet them with open arms.

The bold effort the present bank had made to control the government ... are but premonitions of the fate that await the American people should they be deluded into a perpetuation of this institution or the establishment of another like it-Andrew Jackson

We ARE the "grassfire"

and it is OUR job to keep the feet of anyone in power just a little warm...
EXCELLENT. Thank you for articulating much of what I feel.

This is the article that got my posting privileges revoked:
