Sunday afternoon DP contest- Name this dog

I found a bassett hound this morning and I need a temporary name for her. Let loose with your best libertarian names and we'll see if one fits.

Description-young, female, tri-colored (red, black, white), big ass floppy ears, short legs, long body, waggin' tail.

Personality characteristics-not afraid of big Airedales, likes chasing rabbits, cats, and mostly anything that moves.

Just came back from taking the dog to her home. Her owner works out of town but his wife lives here, and she was really happy to get her back. Turns out her name is really "MOLLY", so the Granger gets the official non-prize for being closest with "DOLLY"

Yeah. Until the owner figures out the dog has been hanging out

If I can't find her owner she'll get to stay here. Taking her to the pound would almost surely be a death sentence, and one she doesn't deserve.

Granger's suggestion of "Betsy"
oldno7jd/scawarren suggested "Ms. Mises"
and bierdegarde/rc liberty round out the top four with "Carol"

These are the names that had either the most suggestions, the most upvotes, or a combination of the two. Any last minute ideas to throw in? I'll end voting in half an hour.

If I ever find another black male kitty I'm going to name him Hayek.

The one in my picture died last year at the age of twelve (pretty good life for a cat I think).

Working on that. The tags on her collar are from out of town and just have the phone number for the animal shelter. In the mean time I've contacted a local bassett rescue organization operating statewide on the chance that someone contacts them. I'll call the animal shelter tomorrow.
