Afghanistan: Pipelines, Poppy, and the Political Cover of Terrorism

Have you ever heard of TAPI, the Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, & India Pipeline? How about the IPI, the Iran, Pakistan, India Pipeline? Growing population and thus energy demands in India and China, and those who want to be the ones who supply it are definitely playing a major role in the mis-adventures in Afghanistan and Iran. Mix a few currency wars in with the energy wars, and you get what we have now...political cover to take out the "evil terrorists" and open markets for US and European corporations and financial institutions.

I'm looking for Condoleeza Rice to make some sort of move in the near future since she used to be a member of the board of directors for Chevron (a big player in TAPI), and also headed Chevron's committee on public policy until she resigned on January 15, 2001, to become National Security Advisor to President George W. Bush.

I think our troops will remain in Afghanistan as long as necessary to protect "our" interests. I speculate all the activity in Pakistan has something to do with this too.

Russia blasts US over Afghan drug scheme

Russia accuses the United States of conspiring with Afghanistan's drug producers by refusing to eradicate opium plantations in the country.

US marines, stationed in the opium-growing Helmand province since February, told the villagers that they do not intend to cut the production, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Sunday.

I started that bookclub after Ron Paul's 2007-2008 run. That's when I realized no one knew what the heck he was even talking about. And it was no wonder people were calling him a "kook". I didn't know much about a lot of the stuff either - of course I'd see stuff online and I wanted to talk about it with other AMERICANS.

I didn't care what political affiliation folks were coming from. I started with 7 people and as you can see there are 116 people in the group. I made it so that ONLY REAL PEOPLE who showed up to meetings could be in the online MeetUp. And the only rule I have is to show respect for another person taking their time to come out and share their opinion. Log story short: Politicians started showing up because I let everyone speak. They liked being able to hear what people were thinking.

Longer story shorter: Every single delegate for Ron Paul knew of my bookclub before they even knew what a "delegate" was. The GOP Chair would come to the bookclub meetings and he and I had a very decent repore - especially when The GOP was trying to collect delegates Social Security numbers and it was getting contentious. He listened to me and showed me the respect and admitted that "his friends in Washington" had pretty much deceived him.

I have now pulled out of the GOP since attending the RNC as an alternate delegate. I am currently writing a Novel about this "Ron Paul" trip I've been on for almost the past decade. My layers have told me to make sure I stress it is a NOVEL so that I don't get thrown in jail. :-) Even though all the names a have been changed (including Ron Paul's but you'll recognize him as he is called RP for most of the book) I think A LOT of you here at the DP will like it. It includes many of the topics that we talked about at my bookclub. I want the book to be an enjoyable read for a regular person who has not yet "woken up". I hope that it helps someone realize that there might me more going on than what they are being allowed to see on TV. And even if they think its crazy...well what the heck its only a NOVEL. :-)

oh and if you are a stalker type vinceableworld - I'm in that film FOR LIBERTY. I look horrible in that. I'm the chick from Rhode Island. :-)

I posted the same video, not noticing your post. Truth and Lies of 9/11 is a must watch for every American. Though a bit of a correction: The finalized video came out in 2004, but the lecture at Portland State actually took place in November of 2001, less than two months after the attacks. Makes the information even more incredible based on the short time in which it was amassed.

I hope I'm not abusing it. I'm just trying to multi-task...share information I've come across, develop my writing and researching skills, improve and expand my knowledge, drive traffic to my website, and raise money to attempt to escape debt and wage slavery so I can write and create more!

Thanks for providing a platform for me to experiment with these goals of mine. I'm glad to see it's mutually beneficial to both of us! I really think we could create a whole new way to fund news aggregate and blogs like the DP by allowing the content creators to make their own ads intra-post. It would be even sweeter, if the reader/customer didn't have to leave the DP.

So imagine Fishy being able to sell books on Aquaponics in here threads and other DPers allowed to advertise our businesses to each other...then the DP just gets a cut for providing the platform.

We could even make it a plug-in of sorts to allow other blogs to install this platform which allows the content creators to create small, intrapost, interactive ads selling a product, or a book, or a song, or artwork, or a service, or whatever.

I know. I know. Rule #8, rule #8, but damn...I have too many projects already and not enough time or resources!

If only I could sell 100,000 car badges quickly so I could afford to quit my day job and focus exclusively on liberty projects!

According to the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime, after the US invasion in 2001, Afghanistan now accounts for 93% of world's total opium production. Production spiked from 7,606 hectares in 2001, to 193,000 hectares in 2007. Helmand province in the south of Afghanistan, an area roughly about the size of West Virginia, now produces 50% of the world's opium alone.

have been the real agenda for war for decades. We are also in Afghanistan to control the opium trade for cash for clandestine wars as well as to keep the inner cities flush with heroin so there is a constant flow of inmates to keep the booming private industrial prison system going.
