Appearing on CNN's Situation Room this afternoon, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) urged that the United States bring its troops home from a costly war in Afghanistan, cut foreign aid especially to potentially hostile countries like Egypt, and take serious steps towards reforming entitlements and the tax code. He also said that, like his father Ron, he believes he can appeal to the youth vote and help make the GOP competitive in "blue and purple states."

*** Indeed, Dr. Paul the Elder's son! Okay, so except for the "fix" part; though as an interim step, Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul would definitely agree with Rand's proposals, as he's stated time and time again to "shore up those made dependent, in the transition period..."

Bullies shy away when challenged openly

I wonder if the real lesson here is that if people stand up and use that at their disposal to fight creeping tyranny - including but not limited to their (dwindling) Constitutional rights - bullies usually blink.

For they are cowards. Left or right. Dem or Rep. Male or female.

The key is for those fighting for justice to do so on principle. Justice for ALL. Fight but for your own ilk and cheer on the oppression of others?.. Almighty God sees and knows all. What end befits us then?

May Rand's stance be rooted in faith and a passion for justice and liberty. For all.

The White House DID mind it. The Banking Elite cringed, and I dont think I need to explain how the MIC reacted to Rands Filibuster. This was a moment in time that The Elite and Obama did not get what they wanted and saw at face value of a Revolution growing.

rife among the 'libs'. They are mostly pretending they've been talking about drones all the time and haven't just been pretending nothing is happening. Out of 13 hours Maddow ignored everything but one hitler reference. She'd have wet herself if someone from the left had said exactly the same stuff as Rand but because it's Rand all she heard was 'hitler.'

I hate partisan politics and I've great respect for those that stood/supported Rand not because of who he is but what he was saying.
