Day of Liberty with son...

1 Stopped by post office to send letter to editor on Aspartame certified return-receipt after 8 mysterious attempts via common routes failed...

2 Stopped by local Credit Union to exchange his loose pennies (all 1982 or newer) for rolled pennies - 34 rolls of pennies and 3 hours of father-son time exploring dates for wheat pennies...

3 Stopped by grocery store and stuffed 6 newspapers with my article on Aspartame (3 Statesman Journal, 3 Oregonian) and was proud to tell my son what I was doing...

Great day and will have many more of them with my four year old son at my side...

Love and Peace first...

Great Story Klinker

I grew up with my Dad taking me to coin and antique stores to go silver hunting with him. He also never missed a second to talk to me about politics, the history they don't teach in school, and his ideas of liberty and freedom. I don't know if I will ever be able to thank him enough for those times and all the knowledge he shared with me.

:)

My parents were activists in the Goldwater era. They watched their children be indoctrinated and learn liberal values, and by the time I came along, they stopped talking politics with the kids. Only after they were dead did I learn they really weren't as Republican as I thought, they were more libertarian. They never learned that I was not as Democrat as they thought, I never bothered to try to explain "libertarianism" to a couple of life-long Republicans...
It is very sad, and I am glad your dad talked to you, and very proud of what klinker is doing!

Love or fear? Chose again with every breath.
