Rand talks about the use...

of lethal drone strikes in the Af/Pak region based on guilt by association, i.e., if some villager is suspected of ties with Al Qaeda, they're droned. The following short clips demonstrate that Saudi Arabia provides the ideological and financial safe haven for Sunni extremists, a.k.a. Al Qaeda. And US leaders have partnered with the Saudi's in creating a global network of Sunni extremists. This is a great strategy if you're part of the Global Military Industrial Complex (GMIC) because it allows the US and Saudi's to play both sides of the War on Terror, this creates perpetual war and profits for the GMIC.

This next clip is Alex Alexiev, an expert who has spent decades studying terrorism. He lays out evidence of the Saudi royal family's funding of Sunni extremism in the U.S. and around the world. It's about 20 minutes long but well worth watching.

good interview

Thanks for posting.

I think Colmes represents the type of respectful and honest liberal democrat to which we ought to be reaching out. I've personally found that there is a lot of common ground to be found with liberals, as long as they are honest and not deeply tied to partisanship...and as long as I'm respectful.
