CPAC: Rick Perry Slams McCain, Romney: "Not conservative candidates."


"The popular media narrative is that this country has shifted away from conservative ideals, as evidenced by the last two presidential elections. That’s what they think. That’s what say. That might be true if Republicans had actually nominated conservative candidates in 2008 and 2012," Gov. Rick Perry (R-Texas) said in his address at CPAC this afternoon.

I wish there was a way to

cut to the chase on some of these videos. I think Perry has a good speech writer but I couldn't spend any more time listening to him. I liked the parts about "federal policy of fiscal coercion...paid for by money pulled off the printing presses" and the release of criminal illegal aliens refered to as a "Federally sponsored jail break".

He is going to need strong

He is going to need strong fabric for the freight train he will be pulling with his coat tails.
