Classic Ron Paul: Lost Tape from the Morton Downey Jr. Show

LOVE this clip - I'd never seen it before! Downey smoking ON AIR! This chick... she's a plant... anybody recognize her? But wait until 2:40 - Doc GOES OFF on the petunia.

http://youtu.be/zeViJPKr8mw

I sure wish he'd have brought up the Franklin Scandal, but this is some eye popping truth! The look on his face when the audience starts their ignorant chant... I am SO GLAD he lived to see US - cheering "End The Fed" had to be pretty sweet for our guy!

Lol, vote for

Lol, vote for tyrrany.........classic ron, bless him for his years of conviction, how long would we have had to have waited for that next ron paul, where would we be now without him and the other patriots

If he would have had the same

If he would have had the same fire in the 2012 campaign as he did back then, he would have won.

I don't think he lacked fire

Ron Paul just got smarter. I admit this video was fun to watch but Ron didn't accomplish much.. they yelled at him and he yelled back. He really didn't convert anyone by doing this. fast forward to 2008, 2012 Ron spoke his message and people listened and when he was confronted he kept his cool and continued to speak clearly. Ron Paul had plenty of energy at his speeches and traveling the US must have been exhausting. The man has as much passion now as he did then, he just presents it differently.

I just thought he was too

I just thought he was too light about his beliefs and didn't seem serious. I gather that he seems to think being angry is not peaceful. I was also disappointed in his shooting down of 9/11 truth as whacky and fringe.

Wow, seing that shows me how

Wow, seing that shows me how much ron paul has held back in recent times........and hes still one of those few who fights for the people, he took the hits, and still went on, i dont now if i could have done the same thing in that kind of opposition, just goes to show that he must really believe in what he says,

I wanna ring that ladies neck for her stupity, and that guy assuming ron was threatening him, oh his a tough one.....end of the day, people have the right to say what they want, but doesnt mean i have to like it, or keep quiet about it if i dont like it when its my turn to exercise MY right to free speech, just as much as they can then argue against anything i say when THEY exercise THEIR right to free speech, ....see how that works, wish there was a word for that activity, some sort of debate like process......i know, lets call it PROCESS,....wait, thats not right:)

Anyone else wishing someone would find these guys and interview them to see if they still disagree with ron, and why? Or just me

The Whole Ron Paul Episode of Morton Downey Show

On 4:05 Morton Downey shouts straight into Ron Paul's face: "I puke on you!"
This is so crazy moment of RP's career in politics.

her name was lisa evers. here's a more recent clip of her: http://youtu.be/FgHQ7II9A5M

We're Not There Yet

but we have come a long way, thanks to people like Ron Paul!

it was an uphill battle indeed to get to this point

unfortunately it was probably a lost cause to try and get through to these people.

but entertaining for sure

Favorite line

"Why don't they put you on a diet? Your a little over weight!"

This man truly absorbed all kinds of ills just so that we could have the opportunity to understand what liberty is about. He truly was the standard barrier. He argued for the sake of not going with the status quo. He's a good and decent man.

Don't stop believing

1988 Morton Downey Show

is one of the biggest Ron Paul Classics.

Happy to see this on the Front Page!

Every Ron Paul supporter should see these clips. I think in youtube there is more clips from this show or at least there used to be.

She was Curtis Sliwas wife

Founder of the Guardian Angels
The Guardian Angels is a non-profit international volunteer organization of unarmed citizen crime patrollers. The Guardian Angels organization was founded February 13, 1979 in New York City by Curtis Sliwa and has chapters in 15 countries and 144 cities around the world.[1]

Sliwa originally created the organization to combat widespread violence and crime on the New York City Subways. The organization originally trained members to make citizen’s arrests for violent crimes. The organization patrols the streets and neighborhoods but also provides education programs and workshops for schools and businesses.

They were regulars on the show

Maybe Sliwa can come out of retirement

And make some citizens arrests. We'll furnish a list.

They were pretty big back in the day

She modeled for Elite modeling agency while being a crime fighter with a black belt. They got into some PR trouble by staging a couple of events. Publicity seekers as you can see.

"Evers has a black belt in karate and has been featured in self-defense videos for women. In 1987 she was the first woman to be inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame as "Woman of the Year". She authored several monthly columns in Black Belt between 1986 and 1994."

Wow fishy

These clips from the Morton Downy show are like the lost Beatles tapes. Every once in a while a new one shows up :)

That was interesting. Did you see the guy at 6:00, pushing "Little No No the drug fighter." Good grief.

Check out RP at the end making fun of her. Petunia.
