Dude! The crime lab was busted falsifying results in more than 30,000 cases!

You want to talk civil liberties? Look at this nonsense!

A scandal in a Massachusetts crime lab continues to reverberate throughout the state's legal system. Several months ago, Annie Dookhan, a former chemist in a state crime lab, told police that she messed up big time. Dookhan now stands accused of falsifying test results in as many as 34,000 cases.

She'll be the Patzi

And none of the prosecutors/defense attorneys will get jail time. Same thing when the banks screw up and use customer accounts:

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

The stigma that governments

The stigma that governments can do no wrong, the reason they see no need for check and balances,

They dont think to themselves, what if this not an isolated incident, what if there is a reason for checks and balances

This is also happening in Texas with a DPS Crime Lab!

Along with falsifying records and a little off topic, something else I noticed about this article:

They always talk about guns and drugs. Why not bribery, extortion, police brutality, etc.

Here's my suggestion. Start over again with a clean slate. If someone infringes upon another, give them a fair trial. If they do not infringe upon another, leave them alone! And it would also be a whole lot cheaper for john q public.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

The DA investigates. How ironic.

I bet they just loved her when she helped crank up their statistics and make a name for themselves by imprisoning their fellow men. I wonder if they'll ask her to falsify evidence to further implicate herself.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Biblical standard for false

Biblical standard for false accusation is to get the punishment your victim - the falsely accused, would have gotten.

Deuteronomy 19:18-19
and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother; 19Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

The bible btw...

is admissible in court and it supersedes any other law. Believe it or not the court's foundation IS THE BIBLE!

Rob Ryder shared a story recently how one of his followers was drawing a complete blank during sentencing - even though he had been practicing for weeks.

The judge said "do you have anything to say." He thought for a minute and said "Yes judge I do have something to say." Then he bowed his head and started reciting the Lord's prayer. The judge jumped up and ran out of the court room - abandoned ship.

These judges are scared to death of anyone who brings God into the court room... likely because they have knowingly sold their souls to the devil.

I had something like this

I had something like this happen to me before court with the arresting officer and prosecutor, who after I said there was a higher law, ended up dismissing the charges.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

LOL

Yes, I'm certain this is just what happens.

No doubts in my mind. Lord's Prayer = Automatic Court Win

Basically, the scale of this

Basically, the scale of this would be execution.

But I've just read the headline, not the article.

It's a more serious crime when a government official commits a crime than anyone else, because it affects everyone else. That's why government debasers of the money got the death penalty originally as well.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

perhaps

No prison for betrayal of the public trust but just public flogging ;)

This woman has caused lots of pain and suffering and cost lots of taxpayer money. She should be given the maximum sentence imo. White collar crime or not she must be punished for these crimes.

No less than 20 years imo.

donvino

terrible.

If there were 1 of her in every state & at that rate we are looking at 170000 wrongful imprisonment cases. Wow. Im betting mass could go BNK for this one.

One of her in every state?

They are ALL just like her!

It's all politics...pin a felony on somebody and they can't own guns.

Nobody getting busted or convicted? Why would we need the cops, so they fudge the numbers...

They don't want us to own guns, that much is a given, so why wouldn't they proactively take measures that prevent us owning guns?

This article takes it a step further...

http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/2012/12/20/in...

The accused chemist apparently has strong personal ties to prosecutors. It appears that she may have been playing Judge and Jury rather than doing her job.

wtf

The e-mails show Dookhan was prone to fabrications, repeatedly making up grandiose job titles for herself, such as “special agent of operations” for the FBI and other federal agencies.

The article doesn't indicate that any investigative journalism was conducted to ascertain whether or not she has links to a Federal agency. "Don't ask, don't tell" is like the rule of the media anymore.

And I don't even understand exactly what her role was, and how there was room for fabrication. Did they hand her a bag of white powder and ask her to identify it? And it was white flour but she said it was coke?

I hate when stories don't have enough details.

Thanks

Her husband should dump her asap imo. That DA should be prosecuted as well.

St. Paul MN - Crime Lab

had a similar issue that is under investigation.. weird

Wow!

Corruption is everywhere.

It all comes down to individuals. Are you honest? Do you do your job honestly? When no one is looking? Corrupt people need to suffer consequences. Well functioning, honorable police, prosecutors, and judges are essential. We need them.

Be careful who you trust. The

Be careful who you trust.

The secular humanist propaganda is showing it's corruption with the idea you should trust everyone, or even most.

Don't trust strangers and people you don't know.

The standard I use for myself is worldly or god given believers.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

You should trust everyone or even

most? What kind of propaganda is this? I'm from the government, I'm here to help you?

They do not exist

The system is absolutely corrupt.

Honest cops, judges, and prosecutors are purely a creation of commercial television.

EVERY cop, judge, and prosecutor is part of the oppressive shadow dictatorship that rules the USA, ANYONE who believes different is living in LALA land.

People don't become cops, judges or prosecutors to be in a position to defend the constitution and protect your rights, they become cops and Judges for the money...no PATRIOTIC American could ever be a part of this shadow dictatorship.

Ah

Cops are in it for the money. That's why I see off-duty cops around with all that bling....umm, wait. Do you know any cops?

If you are impyling cops do not make good money

I think you have to consider the locations. Here in CT - every cop I know has a better house, more toys and go on a lot more vacations than I can afford - and I make considerably above minimum wage - so cops here in CT are not exactly scraping by. And yes - I know a lot of cops. They makes tons of money working overtime. And it is readily available.

The real problem is not that they are crooked - it is that they are ill educated and brainwashed. Many are crooked - but a lot are "good" as well. But even being "good" they are misguided in their quests.

ecorob's picture

The story I hear...

Is that, NO MATTER where you live and work, if you are a cop and don't have a suitcase full of money stashed away you are really stupid.

Cops don't want to be perceived as really stupid!

They have a phobia against it. So, they sock that confiscated money away and spend it, 50 bucks at a time.

Don't believe me? Then you are the fool.

Cops aren't stupid but they are dumb.

I know of a drug "cop" (judicial task force) who lives right up the hill from me in a brand new neighborhood in a house that costs, here in rural Tennessee, above $250,000. Anywhere else, this house costs $450,000 and easily more! It is 2-3 times the size of my house.

Where did this guy get this money? He's a freaking task force cop, for God's sake!

Must have had a suitcase full of money stashed away!

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!
9/11 Truth.

You are living in LALA land

Many, many times I or someone I know have been stopped for no reason except the cop didn't like our looks, or because we 'fit the profile'.

And way worse than just being stopped.

I repeat, EVERY cop breaks more laws, EVERY day, than ANY criminal.

Just ask Serpico...

you do know a cop then

Serpico

You don't know jack then

I told you i have had my rights violated many many times by police, Judges, DA, public pretenders and every body else in the government.

Why would me knowing cops matter?

You want to like the cops go ahead, as for me I am going to continue to blow the whistle on their numerous terrible vices.

Excellent

Dirty cops are worst than crooks, because they betray a trust. They're a bit like pedophile priests that way. They need to get what's coming to them. That doesn't mean every cop is dirty.

34,000 lawsuits

All claiming damages for false imprisonment, loss of income, loss of reputation . . . Taxachusetts is gonna be SO bankrupt . . .

. . . couldn't happen to a more deserving government.

SELL THE STATE.

Anyone think this is an isolated case?

Ever wonder why 1/2 of the 'shows' on tv are shows about good cops? It's because the cops are really SO bad that the need their image 'polished' constantly...

This is standard operating procedure in ever city, EVERY cop breaks more laws EVERY day than ANY criminal, chasing 'bad guys', stomping all over your head, the constitution, and robbing, maiming, killing, planting evidence, and filling out absolutely false reports, all day every day.

Society is going to totally break down soon, the graft and corruption has so permeated every institution in the country, and the money printing presses have been churning out so much untold paper, and the global economy has no legs to stand on, 16 trillion in debt, 10,000,000 unsold mostly FORECLOSED homes being hidden from the market by the real estate industry and the politicians totally incapable of doing what needs to be done, what MUST be done to avert, lessen, or handle the consequences.

The cops are not on your side, Wayne LaPierre is wrong, the people DON'T want a police state...
