We Are Winning

We've undoubtedly lost a few battles over these past years. Whether it was McCain and Romney receiving the nomination, erosion of civil liberties or expansion of the state, we've gone through some downturns. After this past election I felt here on the DP that there was even the lack of a sense of purpose in the movement.

However these past two weeks I've seen the term "libertarian" being brought up all over the MSM and inside the GOP, and as a positive. Before it was a term not to be mentioned. It seems as though we're reaching the tipping point where it is impossible to ignore the case for liberty.

We are winning the long game. Now is not the time for complacency but for action. As the masses awake and begin to consume the philosophy of Mises, Rothbord, Hayek, Paul, Rockwell and others we must remain vigilant of snakes in the grass who wish to co-opt our movement for evil.

This is an exciting time for Liberty. We must sieze this moment.

Yet we are still 5 moves from a checkmate.

If we ever give into complacency with "one-liners", our fate will undoubtedly be sealed inside some stinky place.

Conversely, It is not my intention to bring down anyone's hopes or morale, but I'd like to be able to instill strength and wisdom for our shortcomings and bloated pride, while remaining steadfast and vigilant against defeat or defeatism.

counter-intelligence & psychological operations programs keep the herd stupid & the uninitiated running in circles. They are far-reaching; usually within the confines of denial.

Suckers

The GOP is talking Libertarian .... so they can lure the really stupid gullible Libertarians back into the party ... Then they will cheat and lie and deceive. At the convention you will be told to vote for another CFR fraud.
Only course for our movement is to completely DESTROY both establishment parties ...

Does that make any sense at all?

They know we tried to get into the GOP to get Ron Paul in. Do you really think they are trying to get more of us into the party with hopes that we will forget our principles and vote for one of their stooges? They don't want us in the party. They aren't trying to get us into the party. The change that is being made is that so many of us came to the party for Ron Paul, that we now have positions of power within the party. We have a chance to outnumber them in local precincts and committees. They'd love nothing more for us to leave the party and let them continue to be the majority. But to think that they want us involved in their party, I just don't understand where that idea came from, unless you are one of those "Rand Paul is a neocon" folks. Then I can see how you would think they want us.

Free market capitalism isn't right for America because it works better. It's right because it's free (and it works better).

The political fight is just

The political fight is just beginning and it won't end in 2016. I believe that part of RP's failure to capture the nomination resulted from the campaign's short-sighted nature. 2008 never fully materialized in 2012, partly from the establishment but also from within. The key is continue fighting for liberty in all spheres and gather support from all spectrums, left, right, and center. We must not allow this momentum to evaporate due to pointless infighting.

we havent won

we havent won anything....

tptb have solidified their position....

shhh

Your accuracy has no place here. Just chant "liberty liberty!"

This is the best thing you can do:

Talk to your friends and family. Spread the message, share links and articles. It is a long time until 2016. Connect with people and pass things along. Write letters to the editor in your local newspaper. Write your local politicians and ask them to support Rand.

Lock things up now while we have the upperhand. Push our advantage. Step on the Neo-Con throats.

Expand our base.

Prove it.

Dp-ers have been "winning" since 2008. And yet the media still decides who we vote for and who will win. And the machines are rigged just in case. And people are just as addicted to their TVs as ever. But yes. Hooray. We are winning!!

Agree, with a twist

It may be better to say "Liberty is winning". "We" implies that there are winners and losers, and the last thing we want are sore losers. We want everyone to see the benefits of personal liberty.

Agreed.

That's the beauty of what we're offering. There doesn't have to be any losers.

Ultimately, all sides are advocating for freedom, peace, and justice. Let's remind people what foundation they're built on.

I don't need any enemies, and I don't want to leave a trail of losers in my wake, but some people have chosen to oppose liberty. They believe that which injustice offers can keep the peace and lead to a kind of freedom.

This is about what Ron Paul said; first principles.
