What is a river? What is your purpose?Submitted by RobHino on Mon, 03/18/2013 - 09:44
Everything in nature has but one defining purpose, but an infinite amount of benefits to those who know where to look.
What is a river? What is its purpose?
To transport water from higher elevations to lower....but just think of the infinite consequences and benefits a river affords to the rest of society.
What is your purpose in life?
I've been trying to answer this question for a few days now, and I'm surprised I'm having this much difficulty.
It comes down to this: What are you willing to conceive, believe, and accept as your definition of success? And equally as important, is what are you willing to give to achieve your desired definition of success?
If we start giving those things today while remembering, our only limitations are those we put on ourselves or those limitations we allow others to put on us, we will be one step closer to taking control of the only thing in the world which we actually can: our own minds.
Note: "Success is the knowledge to get whatever it is that you want out of life without violating the rights of others and by helping others acquire it." - Napoleon Hill (see link above)
