So, You Know About Bastiat? Now, Here's Pascal & His "Thoughts". And Here's Why Liberty & Man's Craving For Freedom CANNOT Die.

By Blaise Pascal, mathematician, physicist, inventor, writer and philosopher, 1623-1662:

"Man is but a reed, the most feeble thing in nature, but he is a thinking reed. The entire universe need not arm itself to crush him. A vapor, a drop of water suffices to kill him.

But, if the universe were to crush him, man would still be more noble than that which killed him, because he knows that he dies and the advantage which the universe has over him, the universe knows nothing of this.

All our dignity then, consists in thought. By it we must elevate ourselves, and not by space and time which we cannot fill.

Let us endeavor then, to think well; this is the principle of morality."

Indeed, and that's exactly what your Founding Fathers did, American People.

Not so much for themselves. But For YOU. For US.

For YESTERDAY and for TODAY. And for TOMORROW, with God's Help.

Thus, is it CRYSTAL CLEAR for everybody where I'm coming from, intellectually and morally speaking, now?

I hope it is. For I couldn't have put it better than Pascal did, centuries ago.

Hence this post.

Pascal had many deep, wise thoughts

Thanks for posting this one.

Love won! Deliverance from Tyranny is on the way! Col. 2:13-15

Huge, meet leap

I do not believe that morality is relative, but thinkers of Founding Father caliber are a dime a dozen.

Bump for later.

Space and Time

Man invented space so everything didn't happen to him.

Man invented Time so everything didn't happen at once.

Space includes here, there and no where.

Time includes past, present and future.

Reality is what cannot not be.

Dare I say, I cannot not be?
