MD , sucks the life right out of you !

It really does

It has gotten really bad in the last 10 years or so. Omalley has to be the biggest pos of all time. In a short period of time, he has screwed the state so royally that we will never recover. It wasn't always like this. In addition, the majority of the land mass is totally against the policies his administration pumps. It is just MOCO, Baltimore, and PG that really goes for this crap. The rest of the state people's rights are just tossed aside so easily. I don't understand what is wrong with our population.

A Billion seconds ago, it was 1980. A Trillion seconds ago...

"A Billion seconds ago, it was 1980. A Trillion seconds ago, was 29,380 BC – Cro-Magnon man inhabited Europe."

The US government already absconds with trillions in taxes per year. Were it goes is certainly beyond the border of our American nation.... Beyond our imagination.

Update Senators rally

Update

Senators rally opposition to Internet sales taxes

"Two U.S. senators are trying to prevent their colleagues from rushing to embrace Internet sales taxes, CNET has learned.

Sens. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) are planning to introduce a resolution today saying that no laws should be enacted that would let states impose "burdensome or unfair" taxes on Internet retailers."

WA state reporting:

After calling their offices, both have stated that the Senators have not made a stance. In other words, their voting "yay" for the new tax.

Taxation without

Taxation without representation, in this case the constituants who actually use the internet, i cant believe there was an internet vote, to tax the internet, and we missed it, so again i say, taxation without representation

Saying that, screw non voluntary taxes

That saying never gets old to me

or to Congress, because they keep taxing us for no fu**ing reason.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Called both my senators

but only got through to one. Feinstein's lines were full and I just couldn't get through to her. I was however allowed to leave a message on Barbara Boxer's voice mail.

Hello governments across the

Hello governments across the globe, the internet would like a word with you

I called 1 of 2

I skipped Levin, since he's not only retiring but is a co-sponser. Stabenow heard my opinion though :P

NO INTERNET TAX PLEASE!

I usually call co-sponsors anyway.

Even though I won't change their minds, I want them know very clearly that what they are doing is against the will of the people.

I...

already pay a national internet sales tax. It's called the federal income tax.

"Senators aim to extend ban on Internet access tax"-Jan, 31,2013

Jan, 31, 2013

- Looks like a few senators were trying to EXTEND a bill that bans the taxing of the internet, until 2014, if this has not changed, someone correct me if im wrong, they have a law that makes THIS bill, illegal

"New legislation introduced yesterday by Republican Sens. Kelly Ayotte (N.H.) and Dean Heller (Nev.) is designed to extend the ban indefinitely. The Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act would stop governments from imposing new taxes on Internet access."

"The Internet Tax Freedom Act is due to expire in November 2014, but two senators want to extend it indefinitely."

"Passed in 1998, the Internet Tax Freedom Act prevents federal, state, and local governments from collecting sales taxes on the use of e-mail and other types of Internet access. The bill is due to expire November of next year."

So if im not mistaken, or am uninformed of any recent going ons, there is a ban from government imposing a tax, until at least 2014,

what am i missing, did they revoke the ban, or is this something completly different

I called both of mine Johnson

I called both of mine Johnson and Baldwin. I can't help but think "Do these aides even mark or write this stuff down?" The one guy on Baldwins staff said "I don't think they are voting on this tomorow but i can pass it on" I did choke a little and said "Internet Tax Bill" rather than the correct answer of "A sales tax on Internet Trade" Oh well. Maybe it got marked down i guess. If you look at the co-sponsors above, its almost all the usual clowns. The FF can't really be blamed for not having term limits in the Constiution, that was an era of serve and go home, very few career politicians. It might have been stuck in later anyway, probably during the puke-puke-puke Progressive Era....

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Again i find myself asking,

Again i find myself asking, why are the constituants that use the INTERNET, finding this out now, the day before the bill is voted on

I think that needs adressing, these guys cant go on thinking they can do this, how long before one gets by, as so many already have, and now this one.......frustration, whose heading this?

Dont suppose anyone here knows when this was made public?

Edit
Once again you guys are on the ball, a special thankyou to the commenters providing information
