Their wages are .20 per hour,
Their wages are .20 per hour, so a good 98% of their earned wages are stolen. What % is stolen from you? How much of a slave are you?
This illustrates the.....
This illustrates the "SILENT POWER of the media" and exemplifies Marx's "Ignorance IS Strength."
IF THE SILENT POWER OF THE MEDIA CAN COVERED UP WTC-7, they can cover up the Sun AND very few would realize it.
Remember, "Silence is Golden." Just ask the Gold Man with the Sacks.

Everyone is a slave thanks to central banks and bloated
Government. Social security card, taxes and corporate control and permits required for virtually everything you eat, grow, make or produce. Humans have not been free since we were avoiding being food for other animals!

Ive been recently impressed
Ive been recently impressed by Josh tolleys videos on youtube, the things he says, hes the only one to me whose come as close as ron has, in expressing what the message of liberty means, now, thats not to say ive seen all his videos, or know all his stances, so as always, will be keeping a weary eye out, mucho respecto, josh, if that weariness is unfounded, nothing personal, but i believe everyone should be like that, even for the likes of ron, it is natures check and balance :)

wonder what would happen if they went on strike
I would imagine if they could keep it up for a month or so a lot of prisons would be in the red.
Nope.
that would hurt some other corporations profits, but the jail or prison is funded by Tax dollars. That is why the state can guarantee occupancy.
Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)
It's interesting that none of...
the comments mention the corporations who've temporarily partnered with government while they transition to anarcho-crapitalism. Just imagine what it will be like when there's no government requiring the pretense of a criminal conviction to enslave the people. The Non-Aggression Principle will be a quaint notion from the past.

Unfortunately, it's constitutional.
Note the second clause of section 1 of the Thirteenth Amendment:
It's entirely legal to use convicted criminals as slaves in the penal system. A term "at hard labor" was well established at the time of this emancipation amendment, which was clearly crafted to avoid interfering with both the penal system and requirements to provide restitution.
The amendment was directed at ending inherited states of slavery and heading off enslavement of innocents and re-legalization of importation of slaves.
By the wording it's even constitutional to write laws that sentence them slavery and sell them (though not make their slavery inheritable or contagious to their relatives, both because they're not themselves convicted and because of the prohibition on "corruption of blood" in article III section 3.). Given the history of slavery and emancipation I suspect no such law will ever be passed and the courts would consider this history and interpret the wording to strike down such a law if it were passed.

"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."
That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.
Yes. Correct. And what's vanishing, again ?
Yes. Correct.
And the sad, outrageous part is all about what's vanishing, right there:
"... whereof the party shall have been duly convicted... "
Exercise for the reader : WHICH word, exactly, is vanishing, slowly, but surely ?

Central Planning is Slavery
Central Planning = Central Authority = Central Ownership ~Hayek
If a group assumes the responsibility to Centrally Plan others, the that group must assume the Authority to do so. If that group has the Authority to Plan for others, then they in practice Own the others.
Magnitude must be taken into account here, but take a look at everything that is Centrally Planned for Americans. Banking/Currency, Health Care, Gov't, Housing, Food, Education, Morality, Generosity, and the list goes on.
We are all slaves to some degree, but those mostly Dependent upon Government are mostly Slaves.

13th Amendment.
Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
I say make them labor yet create nothing of value. Perhaps make them dig holes and then fill them up again? Let em stew on the value of labor, and what it means to use force to take a persons liberty and steal the products of their labor.

Inmates are very clever with this kind of thing, one even painted pigs on the decals of cop cars and it took them weeks to notice:

When I was at camp in Boy Scouts we had a race in which each troop competed. I ran as hard as I could and our team finished first but when we had the awards ceremony the Counselor said "Everybody won." I have hated Socialism ever since...
That's hilarious

What should scare us is how the Fed Govt scrambles to
prosecute anyone they can - picking up cases that states don't want to prosecute. There are so many laws we're not even aware of and yes, you hope a jury will see through it but 99% of the time they don't - they trust the government. Anyone going to trial should understand the reality, everything is stacked against you and if you lose -- prepare for a sentence at least 3x what it would be if you plead guilty. No wonder innocent people plead guilty, they know they don't have a prayer when the prosecutors can lie, falsify evidence, anything they want and the judges support it. I'm done with my rant.
