I'd assume y'all have already seen the AP's 'let's divide them: he's pushing for Amnesty!' BS smear propaganda campaign.

That was a good speech.
Rand's approach to legal immigration and the existing problem with illegals sounds plausible. I too, was surprised that he spoke Spanish.

AP is intentionally conflating Rand's assertion that ALL illegals would have to get behind legal residents in line to become legal, if they choose to stay and apply for work visa, as "path to citizenship" BECAUSE they know that can be twisted to say 'look! look! he's calling for "amnesty!"' and dangle it in front of the conservative base, to divide them, just in time, how coinkydink, post his epic 13hr filibuster, and CPAC win, where now Rand's fast becoming a household name all across America.
and of course, those a-holes at RawStory.com (not gonna link them, you can look it up, if so inclined; I certainly won't contribute to their spike, however minor, in web traffic) are predictably running with that meme. Wonder if RawStory hacks realize they've been out-foxing Faux, since the beginning of oBUSHma regime began. By now, I don't even think that they know that they're lying for political expediency anymore; think most scribes at RawStory actually believe their own BS, by now.
