We Have Mortal Enemies

Yes we have them and here is the big danger to libertarians.

The New Republic Mag & The Southern Poverty Law Center, {or "Political Correctness Central Headquarters"} are to powerhouses who make it their business to redefine the meaning of words to fit their liberal-progressive agenda... and they have targeted libertarians. They are busy redefining libertarian-ism for us, or rather to be used against us. Here how its going to go down: They are defining the following as...

1) Against Israeli govt policies? = that is antisemitism

2) Against special government treatment for "people of color" or "ethnic minorities"? = that is racist bigotry

3) Against special government treatment for women? = that is sexist bigotry

4) Against paying a min.wage or 'living wage' to the poor? = that is a Selfish egotist

5) Against 'reasonable' government gun control laws? = that is a domestic terrorist

6) Against Federal Govt getting bigger (or for States rights)? = that is a neo confederate

So soon the liberal meme will be this, are you a libertarian? Then you are a neo-confederate, racist, sexist, heartless, anti-semetic, domestic terrorist. And as a self admitted domestic terrorist (you identified yourself as a libertarian) you should be sent to 'reeducation fEMA camps' for "national security reasons".

Most of all, when the PC police are out in force, there is no discussion, you're guilty as charged. They have redefined what racism is (1980s), redefined what sexism is (1980's), redefined what is a neoconfederate is (2000), and redefined what a domestic terrorist is (a libertarian) 2013.

Take this redefining of terms very seriously. I for one read the Ron Paul investment newsletters and thanks to them, it help me avoid the PC brainwashing and redefining of terms. Today the terms bigot and racist are nearly interchangeable without anyone being able to tell you the difference. Truly racist things come out of the mouths of liberals and racist segregating organisations get a pass as if its somehow not racist. Its all backwards and its all designed by the PC police to remove words and definitions from those that don't share their view point.

Political Correctness is obscene for the very reasons 1-6 above.

PS....... How Do We Respond? Yes, that is a Great Question

Like a hot knife through butter, answer this way:

1) Absurd -- As in "what you are saying is Absurd."

2) Hypocrisy -- As in "You can't debate the issues, you just want to smear an entire group of people you don't, oops isn't that YOUR bigotry?

3) Ridicule -- As in, "You are a two bit know nothing think tank who has an agenda, you're a fraud, you really don't care about thinking about libertarian and is just and good solves social problems. Creeps like you want to make our social problems worse by smearing people, name calling and scaring people."

Those 3 are our best weapons to counter attack their re-defining campaign.

Love your enemies

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

You can love your enemey

You can love your enemey before you know them.

But if you know them, they won't think you are being nice to them because they are getting one over you, but are actually loving them anyway.

One of the things you will come across.

The Holy Bible says that those who return evil for good will never have evil leave their house. That isn't limited to people who recognize their enemy, but also to those who are innocent of knowing everything about the wicked around them.

Proverbs 17:13
Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

I am Libertarian.

Therefore, I oppose the initiation of violence.

Therefore, I do not have any "mortal enemies"!!!

Don't be silly, ... just because you don't initiate violence

does not mean you don't have mortal enemies.

Your niceness is not a shield from those that will take your self confessed libertarianes and through you into a FEMA camp, or dispose of you, "for security reasons".

Perhaps you want to think that one through.

Not to mention

Mass immigration to dilute the population.

Luke 3:38
Isaiah 43:3-5

Lol...

Riiight, because it would do the establishment so much good to dilute the establishment-supporting population.

No, they just have some really screwy ideas about how to fix a problem that everyone knows exists.

I wish everyone around here didn't jump to calling conspiracy on any people who seem slightly stupid. Believe it or not, the vast, VAST majority of people actually are stupid, not just acting. Conspiracies do happen, and they should always be considered, that doesn't mean that you go around making accusations with no proof or even logic to support your claims.

No proof?

What are the demographics of America and how have they changed over the last 50 years?

Is the same happening in Europe?

You may want to google that idea and read up on it.

It allows freedom of movement yet doesn't allow for overwhelming numbers to dilute the population.

Here's a great article on the Blue Card idea

By odd coincidence, Treg wrote it. He's too modest to post a link to his own article, I guess. I think it's absolutely brilliant.

I'd like to see a debate

It's funny to see how far some people will go to protect the current system. They are more or less selling their soul to the devil to protect the status quo.

I'd like to see an open debate on these subjects. It should be pretty easy to counter these accusations. But it requires the willingness of both parts to talk.

1) Against Israeli govt policies? = that is antisemitism.

Is the USA Israels slaves or an Independent country? We are not opposed to trade, but militarily we should be very careful not to stir up things too much, Israel has said multiple times that they are very capable of taking care of themselves and no longer need our "supervision". How about stopping giving foreign aid to other countries like the enemies of Israel? I'd leave that to the market else it might end up in the pockets of the wrong people.

2) Against special government treatment for "people of color" or
"ethnic minorities"? = that is racist bigotry.

Special treatment like throwing "people of color" in jail and making them slave labor for the government, yes we are against that. We are in fact against special treatment laws for any group.

3) Against special government treatment for women? = that is sexist bigotry.

Again why should we value some people higher than others, isn't that racist?

4) Against paying a min.wage or 'living wage' to the poor? = that is a Selfish egotist

By regulating the market govt prevent and hinder agreements between people, they are preventing the creation of new jobs by doing this. If you had to choose would you rather have no job at all or have a job that is under the minimum wage? Lastly don't forget big government and its many regulations is the reason we are in a crisis in the first place. USA has stopped producing because its become non-profitable to use its own labor force.

5) Against 'reasonable' government gun control laws? = that is a domestic terrorist.

Death by guns may be higher in non gun regulated zones but the crime rate is lower. Once you start to regulate its a slippery slope. The second amendment is to protect the people against an out of control government. How much do you trust your politicians? Have they delivered what they promised? Would it be possible for any politician to ever have made a deal with someone to gain a personal profit at the expense of others? Would you be willing to put your kids future on the line for a promise made by a politician? In the end it boils down to who to trust and I for one does not trust blindly everything that comes out of any politicians mouth.

6) Against Federal Govt getting bigger (or for States rights)? = that is a neo confederate.

How much does the Government actually produce per dollar spent compared to the free market. I am not talking about job I am talking about actual wares and products usable by the people. This has nothing to do with north vs south. It's all about keeping each persons individual freedom, as opposed to removing them like they have been doing for some time now.

Will the American dream be a possibility for much longer in America or will you have to move to Asia to achieve it in the future?

Why label yourself in the first place?

I'm not a libertarian. And using the McNDAACains and Grahams as a guide, I'm not even a Republican. I don't have to be anything other than me.
I stand firmly with George Washington who cautioned against these political factions. I take the best offered by our different Founders and use that as my guide as to what a government should be. I whole-heartedly believe Madison was a 'nationalist'and wanted a central govt and damn the states, yet I quote him below because he was right about some things. Let the world rot in its labels! I am. That's it.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.
James Madison

Why label yourself is a great question & deserves a great answer

I am not 100% sure of this history... but I believe I read somewhere that the reason why, in China, there are so many Chens and Tangs and Yings so on, far fewer last names than found in one American town, that for centuries the Emperors would write down family names to identify 'trouble makers'. The people all became Chens and Tangs. When the palace guards asked (always at the threat of death) "Who did you see run by here?" ...the peasant could answer "It was Chen". I even heard that Emperors would round up as many Chens as they could and just execute them all, as a warning.

You see in China, vengeance is multi-generational. In the West, vengeance only belongs to the one who received the injustice. At the most in the West, it may pass to a son or wife to get vengeance for an injustice, but never like it goes in China or Japan for that matter. There vengeance belongs to the multi-generations and whole extended families would/could seek vengeance. In the West, you don't hear of 3rd cousin daughters marrying into the family that murdered your great granddad, only to poison the ruling son of the man who committed the first injustice against the granddad you never met or knew personally. (Hatfields and McCoys have nothing on Chinese/Japanese notions of rightful vengeance.)

Does that mean that Britain should watch its back for having its ships travel up the Yankse River in the 1700s and blowing up town after town with cannon balls? I think so. Does that mean that Americans should be very wary of Japanese for nuking two cities in the 1940's, some 70 years ago? I think so. A few generations from now may learn/be taught that vengeance is rightfully theirs. So strong is/was the culture of vengeance, even in Middle Ages in Europe, that it can last for a 1,000 years. Hence, people in China protected themselves from the Emperors fear of vengeance by not having a name and/or blending into the grand family of Chens or Tangs or Yings...etc.

To make the equivalent response in today's America, we would all have to share a dozen or so Social Security numbers. But with eye recognition software, facial recognition software, DNA recognition software, that may not work. See Tom Cruise in the movie... I can't recall the name.

Anyway, its a good question, why take a label? Why put a name to it? The answer to that is "BULLETS". Yes, bullets, as in, What good is a gun without bullets?" Answer, it isn't worth much. Labels and names are really concrete verbal bullets, they are ideas in name form. You cannot fight the fight without ideas and ideas need names to fire off. I cannot say their concept, "minimum wage", without a name, without a conceptual label. And most of all, like a pyramid or a tower of umbrellas with the biggest umbrella covering the many smaller umbrellas underneath, political labels such as Conservative, liberal, socialist, communist, fascist, anarchist, and of course libertarian all cover the many smaller umbrella concepts down below. Without the word socialist, you would then be left with describing all the sub-ideas such as min wage that underpin its meaning.

So the answer to the question is bullets. Ideas get labels because it helps us to think rationally (or irrationally). It is were this war is right now, and Alex Jones for one, gets it. Its "Info Wars". Ron Paul gets it, its a "war of ideas". Its our ideas vs their ideas. Hence, their attempt to co-opt the meaning of our label.

Finally, Once I tell you that "blue is green", and, "green is blue", what have I done? Answer, I have conveyed NO INFORMATION and I have confused the listener. The listener cannot tell you if you mean this green leaf or that blue sky, especially confusing when many millions of people walk around calling the sky green and the leaf blue.

Now get out there, load up on all the Freedom Bullets that you can, and fire those ideas out at our enemies (ie our confused mislead future friends). Yes, its a game of numbers, never forget that too.

Was speaking with friend recently about redefining of words.

Your post is good timing.

It's easiest in my view to

It's easiest in my view to just accept that there are probably selfish, egotistical, racist/sexist/otherwise bigoted, neoconfederate terrorists who may believe some of what I/we believe. But if a murderer also believes in free health care, does that make the progressives "like murderers?"
No. That's stupid and absurd and everyone knows it as soon as you point out that it's just a stereotype. We can't get riled up about people trying to stereotype us. We have to calmly and rationally dismiss these claims, point out that they are stereotypes, and that they are the weakest possible argument to refute any idea or collection of ideas. We calmly dismiss the idea that we are any of the stereotypes and assert our true beliefs in the clearest and most concise terms. Don't get bogged down in nuances when you don't have to. Don't get tied up in a line of questioning. Don't be afraid to decline to speak about something which you know little about or have a viewpoint you can't carefully and aptly represent. Be humble and calm and spare your aggression until it's useful.

How Do We Respond? That is a Great Question

The answer is this way:

1) Absurd -- As in "what you are saying is Absurd."

And they come on here,

And they come on here, marginalize posts, change the debate to those topics - isn't it too bad you're one of those - guilt trip guilt trip,

And here they are planning to turn over names to people who they are telling to shoot you. After of course they give a slanderous reason to.

Yes, you have enemies. They like you so much they pay to have posters come here. And they're already envying you living.

Why did I say you have enemies instead of we? Because this has been going on all my life. Welcome to the club. Get smart. Prepare to defend yourself against enemies that are *actual* enemies. Words make a difference. Use them to see who is who. Any attempt to harm you will always be sneaky. They are cowards. Much like the whispering campaign you're talking about now.

Well said, Treg!

Very astute. I've seen a bit of the same strategy lately here on the DP, with a couple of newbies trying to redefine anarcho-capitalists/voluntaryists/anarchists as nihilistic barbarians and trying to drive us out of here. Two I've noticed lately are Mark Hanson and FreedomsReigning. If libertarians rank as domestic terrorists, God knows what label they'll come up with for voluntaryists.

And now that this book is on the New York Times best seller list, you can expect lots of arguments that say anarchy leads to violence and we all descend into nihilistic Barbary. But here is the bigger point for us Rothbardian anarcho-capitalists, we need to first respect the "IS" and not confuse that Pinker, the books author, is making an "OUGHT" argument. The battle is over facts and reasons for those facts. And best of all, its a good battle for us to have because we all seek the

... One of their biggest lies is to get people to think (us to think) that only a few people know what's up. The truth is that more people are awake than we think - and more people wake up as time goes by. Their controlling and deceptive techniques are becoming more and more obvious to the general public. Take for example the Hispanic community in the USA that has been brain washed by the Zionist media of Univision and telemundo. Inspite of being hammered day in and day out with the indoctrination you described most of this same demographic does not buy into the lies.

Trust me man more people are awake now than ever. Just keep fighting the good fight- for most people only need a little push to see the light for what it is.
