Rand Paul's Five Year Budget - Call Now!
Submitted by JO4RP on Thu, 03/21/2013 - 09:50Received this email and have called Rubio & Nelson's offices - both said they have not made a statement regarding how they intend to vote. Nelson's office was much nicer than Rubio's - Nelson staff actually asked my opinion whereas Rubio's office seemed offended that I should call and ask how he plans to vote.
Just hours from now, the U.S. Senate will vote on my Five Year Balanced Budget Plan.
Now is your chance to send a clear message to Washington that nothing less than a balanced budget is acceptable.
It's VITAL you contact BOTH of your U.S. Senators at the number below and tell them to support my Five Year Balanced Budget Plan.

And if you haven't already, please sign your Balanced Budget Petition.
President Obama and his big-spending pals in Washington actually believe our expanding budget deficit is sustainable.
In just ten years, our out-of-control deficit spending will swell our national debt to a whopping $25.4 TRILLION!
And sadly, some in my Republican Party, who are supposed to be the bastions of fiscal conservatism, are still running scared from a fight.
So yesterday, I took the first steps in fighting back by releasing my Five Year Balanced Budget Plan that will eliminate deficit spending in only five years.
My five-year budget plan addresses all of these problems by instituting real reforms including:
*** Cutting the corporate tax rate to 17% to make our country competitive again in the global jobs market;
*** Instituting a flat 17% income tax because when people keep more of what they earn, the economy prospers;
*** Eliminating the Departments of Education, Commerce, and Housing and Urban Development;
*** Repealing "ObamaCare" and Dodd-Frank, which radically hamper job creation;
*** Freezing taxpayer handouts to foreign countries at $5 billion because American taxpayers shouldn't be forced to hand their hard-earned dollars over to foreign countries when we're struggling here at home.
And you and I can do all of this without raising taxes or touching Social Security or Medicare benefits.
But the big spenders in both parties will fight tooth-and-nail to protect their addiction to spending YOUR money recklessly.
The big-spending politicians in Washington won't stop unless patriotic Americans, like you, make them.
It's up to you to help apply the pressure to FORCE them to listen.
That's why it's VITAL you contact BOTH of your U.S. Senators and tell them to support my Five Year Balanced Budget Plan.

And if you haven't already, please sign your Balanced Budget Petition.
It's time you and I stop this madness in Washington and balance our national budget.
Let's spread the word that nothing short of a balanced budget is acceptable.
So please contact both of your U.S. Senators and sign your Balanced Budget Petition IMMEDIATELY.
And please also make a generous contribution to help me circulate this petition to thousands more Americans.
I'm counting on you to stand with me to stop rampant deficit spending once and for all.
In Liberty,
Senator Rand Paul

Dont personally like the 17% tax
Its too high. Does it accompany any other tax cuts other than the corporate tax?

Reading on twitter first $50k is exempt from flat tax
That makes it much more appealing!
God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it. – Daniel Webster
according to the link
I provided from Rands site its the first 30k then an additional deduction for each dependent. Its either a 6k or 3k deduction. Can't remember. In any case that is really good.

get rid of the income tax
get rid of the income tax altogether and just have a national sales tax/fair tax. I'm tired of spending hour after hour trying to comply with the out of control and vague IRs rule.
get rid of those lowlifes altogether.
That would be my preference as well
but i dont see any other bills on the floor.
