*Red Alert: Get Out Of Gold And Silver! Use Paper Dollars!

If you own Silver and Gold get out Now!

First of all, Gold and Silver is in a Bubble. Look here is an Article that says it is: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/08/17/gold-bubble...

Second, we already know the government has precedent to make it illegal to own Gold and Silver and will do it again. This will come with stiff Jail Sentences and downright forceful confiscation!

Third, The Government has labeled anyone owning precious metals as possible Domestic Terrorists. Sell your Silver and Gold now so you can live without fear of being persecuted by your government!

http://www.activistpost.com/2011/12/10-ridiculous-things-tha...

Forth, The Government is looking to regulate and record anyone who is purchasing physical Silver and Gold. They will Track you!

http://dailybail.com/home/update-new-bill-requires-gold-silv...

Now lets talk serious! For anyone here who owns Gold and Silver does any of that propaganda make Gold and Silver illegitimate as money? Does it give you reason to sell your Gold and Silver?

I dont think so... Sure, it's risk is a concern but considering the alternative which is to hold paper Dollars it's well worth taking the risk.

So why do all the Bitcoin haters try to use the same fear mongering propaganda techniques to downplay Bitcoins?

Look, are there hurdles to overcome? OFCOURSE there are! What, did you think the most powerful Banking Cabal would just lay down and die without a fight? Do you think there just going to relinquish power back in the hands of the people? No! There going to get their bought off government lackey's and Media whores to throw everything they got at Bitcoins. In my opinion this only legitimizes Bitcoin as a weapon that can be used against the Bankers!

End the Fed! Use Bitcoins!

P.S.

I'm wondering how many $1 Fed notes he had to spend to stack that much up of the Zimbabwe dollar... Better yet: how much that represents in gold, silver, or bitcoins?

For the first of the former two: let's forget ounces for a sec and just use... grams!

(1 ounce = circa 30 grams)

Mostly only humor.

Also a cogent example of how anything can be sold as a good idea with words pretty and bulbous.

Question about bitcoins

Can one use bitcoins without a computer or internet access?

...

Your wallet private key can be stored in a piece of paper or in your mind through a phrase that you memorize that correlates to an encrypted private key.

The answer is Yes.

I think what

In other words, can you use it with out a computer.

Who ever wants

to use bitcoins, more power to 'em, for me though, I rather have something tangible that has real worth. Bitcoin is just another fiat currency that could go as quick as it came.

It doesn't qualify as fiat.

It doesn't qualify as fiat.

Please look up the definition

Please look up the definition of fiat. Bitcoins are not fiat currency... Sigh! Here's a hint they are a free market currency...

No.Fiat currency is "money

No.

Fiat currency is "money without intrinsic value."

Bitcoins are just numbers.
Numbers don't have value.

Therefore, bitcoins are fiat.

NO! NO! NO! SO WRONG

Please look up the definition of Fiat Currency. Then Copy and paste it here.

This will easily point out just how wrong you are as you will find that in order for a currency to be FIAT it has to be forced into use.

No one is forcing Bitcoins on any one. This is a totally voluntary choice of a medium of exchange.

Fiat money, irredeemable

Fiat money: irredeemable paper currency, **not resting on a
specie basis***, but deriving its purchasing power from the
declaratory fiat of the government issuing it.
[1913 Webster]

Please post a link to where you got that definition because it is incorrect. Fiat money can have intrinsic value...

I'm not against Bitcoin, I'm

I'm not against Bitcoin, I'm against legal tender laws. Would I accept BC in payment for something, no, not yet.
I believe that a honest tool of exchange must be something that actually exists in reality, that you can touch, see, store, has labor involved in it's creation, that can't just cease to exist because of a power failure like what I'm writing here.
I understand the attraction to BC, that it undermines the banking and govt scams which is a good thing. I use FRN's because people accept them but I don't like them and just keep enough of them to pay my expenses and buy tradable things with the excess.
When and if BC gets to the point where I can get paid in BC's and can pay all my expenses with it I would use it in place of FRN's but still use the excess to buy tangible things.

Okay, I am

sorry, it is not declared as legal tender by some elected official or ruler, but it shares every other charicteristic of fiat besides someone forcing anyone to use them.

Like I said, if others want them, so be it, that's the free market. For me though, they have no intrinsic value.

“When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.” – Dresden James

You are already using FRN's

You are already using FRN's and they have no intrinsic value plus they allow you to be robbed of your wealth track your every financial move and are centrally controlled and inflated debasing the currency eroding your savings if any.

Bitcoin is a free market currency that eliminates all that. You have to use an digital currency anyway in today's electronic society bitcoin is the obvious choice... Doesn't mean you should not put away PM's however we can end the fed by switching to bitcoin...
