Poll shows huge support for Rand Paul’s filibuster stance on drone attacks

Washington Post: A new Gallup poll shows a huge majority of Americans — 79 percent — supported Paul’s position that drone strikes should not be used on American soil against Americans suspected of terrorism. Just 13 percent say it would be okay.

Americans also don’t support drone strikes against any suspected terrorist on American soil (25 percent support, 66 percent oppose) or against U.S. citizens suspected of terrorism abroad (41 percent support, 52 percent support).

is still nothing more than a politician to me. He is nothing more of a "lesser of evils" vote. He had chances to do more about this earlier, before he was on such a large stage. It worked in his and our favor and that's great. Even Mitch F'n McConnel jumped on the bandwagon to sway with the wind like a good and corrupt politician does. I'm not sold on Rand at all.

Whatever you think of Rand

He has clearly brought light to the subject of drone attacks. People are at least talking about the issue now.

Agree - so often I see politicians using Ron Paul's language

when speaking of issues never before discussed on MSM - don't know whether to laugh or cry!

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know Peace." - Jimi Hendrix

I figure it's better to have people talking about it

Nothing ever happens when these things are shrouded in darkness. But, yes, it is frustrating to hear people who laughed at Ron Paul trying to sound like him.
