Ron Paul Needs to Own the War's Bad Effects on the Economy
Ron Paul needs to use this big drop in stocks this week to drive home the point about how the war is really wrecking our economy.
He has to make this a huge issue and not let the others spin it some other way.
It does amaze me that they played that clip of Ron Paul. The truth will win in the end.

I Watched Mort Zuckerman Bash Dr. Paul on McLaughlin Group
Mort Zuckerman is the chief editor for U.S. News and World Report. He appears on John's show frequently as an 'alternate' regular. Dr. McLaughlin rolled the tape showing Ron Paul's debate answer about our failing economy and the expense of the Iraqi occupation. He asked the panel for their opinion as to whether Iraq has a minor or major impact to the economy.
Zuckerman gave a vitriolic response saying the occupation in Iraq has nothing to do with the economic problems of the nation. He stated the economy has been 'booming' for the last four years since our military has been occupying Iraq for going on five years now. He said it all has to do with the failing credit industry.
A 'booming' economy? What Zuckerman neglected to say was the rise in the economy occurred because of the increase in low interest credit capital (in other words cheap debt) that fueled corporate profits. Real growth in the economy comes from industrial capital, where jobs are created.
Zuckerman knows very little about economics and is a Zionist supporter of Israel’s expansion into the West Bank and Gaza Strip, land belonging to the Palestinian people. He renounces Dr. Paul because Paul wants to end financial support for Israel (and the rest of the Middle East nations).
By the way, John McLaughlin stated Iraq is a ‘major’ drain on America’s economy!

Zuckerman
is right about the Credit Default Swaps etc., but soooo completely doesn't get it. He's saying that the 4 years of economic boom proves the Iraq war is irrelevant. But the 4 years of boom are a symptom of the inflation of the money supply, which was necessary to fund the war and made all of this malinvestment possible and attractive - and is now biting us in the @ss.
Who the heck is that guy? I know more about economics than him, and I can't even balance my check book.
