Gun store rescinds Mark Kelly's (Gabby Gifford's husband) rifle purchase. Questions his 'intent.'

A Tucson gun store owner has decided to rescind the sale of a military-style rifle to Mark Kelly, the husband of former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, after Kelly said he had intended the purchase to make a political point about how easy it is to obtain the kind of firearms he's lobbying Congress to ban.

Mark Kelly- Baby Seal Killer?

This fool is a nightmare.

Hey, MK... Keep your families assault dog out of my state. In case you didn't know, moronic tourists killing baby seals in California isn't cool...

I find the Irony great...be careful what you ask for....you may just get it.

Sheesh. Put yourself in the store owner's shoes.

Poor guy probably had half the MSM on the one hand and every patriot in Arizona on the other hand screwming DON'T DO IT, IT'S A SETUP!

Fortunately in this case the law was written in a way to almost COMPEL him to deny the sale when he became informed of the INTENDED USE for this firearm. The law states in part that he can only sell firearms to individuals for personal use.

Bingo! Easy out. Now the matter is essentially transferred off his lap and into BATF and the legislators who wrote the law. Or rather had flunkies write as we have no reason to suspect many of our legislators are literate.

Note that Mr. Astronaut was NOT deprived of a RIGHT in this case but merely an OPPORTUNITY since he can simply change his mind at a later date, decide he'd really rather keep the AR, become a shooter and he'd be welcomed at many gun shop counters in state.

It was hilarious just watching this on CNN

The host went off saying isn't this wrong? He filled out all the paperwork, law abiding citizen, 2nd amendment right, and etc. Really! Isn't that the same argument all gun owners have right now? Law abiding, 2nd amendment, and etc. The blatant double standard is mind boggling. Face palm!! Feinstein wants to ban AR-15's but it's an issue when the husband of a congresswoman gets denied. I can't even believe they would cover this and the brain dead anchor, wow! She's spent other time today attacking gun owners. Way to go carrol!

I hope someone

gets that video on youtube!

And they are hoping people will not use their brains and analyze the double-standard (as you did) and just swallow the current meme.

No blue pills for us!

The article says Kelly bought

The article says Kelly bought the guns on March 5 of this year at the top, then says he bought them the day before his wife was shot in the supermarket parking lot. Is that an error in the story? Or am I missing something?

He made the purchase the day before an anniversary of the shooting. They chose that day to add drama to the debate.

A very odd point of contention. Horrible story. The media tried and failed to connect the shooter to conservatives but none of us knew that kid, none of us had ever seen him.

I am grateful for Gabby Giffords' recovery. Very nice to see her on her feet and making appearances.

Be brave, be brave, the Myan pilot needs no aeroplane.

Poorly Constructed

"Kelly bought the guns at a Tucson shop the day before he appeared with his wife at the supermarket where she was wounded during a shooting rampage that left six dead and 12 others injured two years ago."

Perhaps, it should have been "reappeared" "two years after" or something more clear.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Thanks for clearing that up.

Thanks for clearing that up. Makes sense now.

He purchased the

guns the day before they returned to the supermarket parking lot where she'd been shot.
