Weapons Manufacturer: Big Sis Attempting to Exhaust Ammo Supplies - Video

Bullet buys aimed at drying up market in end run around second amendment

Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com | March 26, 2013

A weapons manufacturer who supplies the federal government with ammunition told the nationally syndicated Savage Nation radio show that the Department of Homeland Security’s huge ammo purchases were an attempt to dry up supplies as part of an end run around the second amendment.

The caller, who described himself as a defense contractor and a licensed weapons manufacturer, said the goal was to “control the amount of market that’s available on the commercial market at any time,” by forcing manufacturers to hold back stock.

With the exception of Lake City can't they just refuse

the contracts?

It's not like they are handed a contract and told, "here, fill it."

They have to answer an RFP or similar document.

If the ammo manufacturer's are worried about producing enough for citizens, they need only not seek the government contracts that they can't keep up with otherwise. It's just a matter of prioritizing their distribution.

I don't fully believe this is their main objective.

If they're trying to limit the supply of ammo, then what is their reason for purchasing armored personnel vehicles? I believe that limiting the supply of ammo may just be an added bonus for them.

Cornering many markets?

Perhaps they're trying to limit the supply of armored personnel vehicles?

I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.

That's funny

What are they going to do next, buy up all the cocaine?

I think Washington DC...

...is already running a substantial trade deficit with Colombia.

Think about this. The very

Think about this. The very first documentable assault on the US Constitution and the American People by the Federal Government. I smell a court case.

"The very first documentable assault on the US Constitution"

Not quite, this comes in as number 199,456, to be precise.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

If so, then their using

If so, then their using taxpayers money to do it, .....

You wont voluntarily give up your guns, no problem, we'll use the money, you give us, a thing you have no choice in paying without threat of persucution, and we'll use THAT money to buy all the bullets,

Contrary to what these fuckheads believe, these action are fucking slimy, when i think of a free country, these dodgy f-ing dealings have no place, they are either ignorant or willfull in this respect,
And they continue doing it......., "same fcking shit, different fcking day"........

Arrogance is their fortee, ignorance is their masterpiece.....*shrug

So where's the list

of Ammo manufacturers who will not sell to the government or Police as long as gun legislation is being proposed?

Which one will be the first to step up and say "Sorry Sam" no more for you?

I'd rather have a bottle in front o' me than a frontal lobotomy

Moral of this story...

The Establishment is scared.

This is a very important piece of information regarding these sales contracts. They don't actually need to buy the rounds RIGHT NOW, but if there is civil unrest they can easily hold up the production to private buyers.

All the more reason for the NEXT Revolution to be a PEACEFUL one.

THEY are preparing for armed conflict. Is it wise to give them what they're prepping for? In this age of technology, Information is the greatest weapon and its most destructive ammunition is TRUTH.

And look at the amount of FEAR this whole subject has generated. Without the insider perspective providing a logical argument to the use of these contracts, it does seem like they're prepping for war. But no, they're mostly using legally binding contracts to control ammo supply.

Wise words

thank you Freedom Ninja.

I believe they do know an

I believe they do know an economic crisis is coming and ammo will be needed. They could be buying in bulk because they know the prices are about to go up and that the supplies will dwindle away if a collapse comes.

What's to stop new ammo

manufacturers from opening shop? Or existing producers from expanding?

supplies - plain and simple

As American's we take for granted the supply of goods and have a mindset that it is all just a walmart visit away.

Open an ammo manufacturer tomorrow - then go to work finding brass and gun powder. Then realize there is NOT an infinite supply of materials in this country.

I know plent of guys that reload - and when the gun store gets a load of powder in - they buy - even if it not the type of powder they really want -they change the loads and make do. They simply cannot get the brass, the bullets and the powder. And these are not guys loading for a war - they are just loading for regular target practice and fun.

ammo manufactures would sell

ammo manufactures would sell the people of the US out like this. They need to be exposed.

That's the sad but true part about these corporations. People are so embedded in the matrix, they can't tell the difference between right and wrong anymore. The moral compass is gone.

Just chasing almighty, all powerful FRNs.

"Whatever you want...." FRNs will buy them. That is the great myth of our age.

Supply and Demand

Ah, yes, the Keynesian approach to bullet supply...

Wonder how well that will work.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Rather well if they further restrict imports.

International manufacturers are the only ones that can fill this gap at this time. You can't open an ammunition factory overnight in the USA, it would probably take 5 years minimum to clear the paperwork.

Reloading is only gonna help the reloaders and then only those with brass.

Suddenly those of us with muskets and cap-and-ball antiques seem lucky because they can cast their own bullets. Now all they need is access to a decent propellant.

Sure some of us can machine casings but in the quantity and quality we're talking about, forget it.

There is nothing strange about having a bar of soap in your right pocket, it's just what's happening.
