How to fit a 12 gauge in a Honda glove compartment

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/28/newtown-shooting-se...

A magazine with 35 shot gun shells in it would weigh about as much as this pint sized drug addled kid would have. I gotta get me one of them there Honda's with the giant glove compartment.
Edit...As I've stated below, the HP article I've linked to has since edited out the statement claiming the shot gun was found in the glove compartment. Maybe they are followers of this site.

Given this info

consider me a conspiracy theorist now. I HATE conspiracy theories, but at the very least this is faking evidence. They claim to have found NRA cards, yet the NRA denies the membership of Adam and his mother.

They found two shotgun magazines that don't actually exist.

They found more expended .223 casings than could fit in the magazines found.

I'm calling massive BS here.

You just need the right

Nice!

Let me guess.Those are illegal?

I don't know about fitting a

I don't know about fitting a shotgun in there but you could definitely fit one of these bad boys in there.

.223 casings

The article says that there were 154 spent .223 casings found.
The article also says that Lanza had three, 30 round magazines for the Bushmaster.

3x30=90. Ok, so where did the other 64 rounds come from?

Did I miss something?

I must have lost track somewhere

the last I remember was that the .223 was found in the car. And that Lanza only had pistols on him when they found him.
But this article says that empty .223 casings were found all over the school. And where does the knives and swords enter the picture? And the BB gun?

One question.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that the shotgun had two 35-round magazines.

Now, for the question.

I'm a gun nut. I read about these things constantly, and incessantly browse sites looking at the available firearms and prices. I have never, ever seen a 35-round shotgun magazine. The biggest I've ever seen would be a 20-round drum for a Saiga 12 shotgun.

I thnk Saiga does

make a 30 round drum but not a 35. Regardless it would be incredibly unwieldy, particularly to an individual with a diminutive stature such as Lanza. I've got a 223 and one of the mag's I have holds 40 rounds that is uncomfortable from the excess weight. If all else fails you could bludgeon a person with the loaded mag.

doesn't say anything

about the glove compartment

This linked article has been edited since I posted

As well as all comments underneath that mentioned how ridiculous it was to state the shot gun was found in the glove compartment.

There are no politicians or bankers in foxholes.

That one didn't

Clarification needed!

Sedensky said 154 spent .223 casings were recovered at the scene. A loaded 12-gauge shotgun was found in the Honda Civic Lanza drove to the school with two magazines containing 70 rounds of Winchester 12-gauge shotgun rounds.

Ok, was it two magazines containing 70 rounds each or two magazines containing a total of 70 rounds? And does anyone have a link to a 70, even 35, round magazine for a 12 guage, that a normal person can buy?

Actually, it looks to me like this entire article is filled with lies, half truths, obfuscations, and deceit and fear mongering! I mean, even listing the BB gun as a weapon???? Next thing ya know they'll want to your child to have a permit to have a BB gun, and the BB gun will have to be registered!

Really

Try and fit any kind of shotgun in here:
