Ron Paul Sticker saved me $5,000 on a New HVAC

My 14 year old HVAC was on its last legs. I started taking bids for a new one. At a major Big Box store they were selling the very top of the line Lennox. I requested an estimate.

The estimator came out the next day and gave me a quote for $9,453.00. As he was leaving he spotted my Ron Paul stickers on my car. He asked if he could come back inside to talk. He came back in and we talked for over 45 minutes about Ron Paul and what the NWO was doing. He said it was refreshing finding another soul who was awake.

He told me that this time of year when the weather was mild that most of the installers were idle and that they were taking side jobs. In other words, unemployed. He asked if I wanted him to make a call to one of the installers that he knew. I agreed.

He made the call and asked his contact what would be his price to install the same system that I was quoted. I was floored when he said that he would install this top of the line system for only $4,500.00 (no tax).

I'm sure glad that I didn't peel off my RP sticker. Just one more reason why I love Ron Paul.

It's almost time for my 2016 sticker

Seriously though. The Ron Paul 2012 sticker is not moving, don't care what anyone says.

Actually had multiple co-workers mock me about the loss. I always find it very effective to mention that Ron Paul is by far the greatest defender of civil rights in recent history. No one can refute that. They find shocked to hear that by record he defends civil rights 100x more than Obama or any neo-con dinosaur sociopath.

In Los Angeles, this one simple point has been so well accepted. I have turned people from Obama fanboys to "fake conservative" Romney/McCain sheeple. The reason being, LA has an incredibly accepting public opinion of civil rights; race, creed, color, sexuality, to name a few- so it resonates like a sounding alarm. If only more awake people would share the true "message" Dr. Paul always credits to the success of our movement.

Let's not be silent.
Let's not hold back in 2016.

Our time has come.

Ron Paul 2016

All three of my stickers

All three of my stickers remain in place.

Two of them are RP 2012 stickers. I don't care that we fell far short - those stickers point out every day that I'm not responsible for the shit that is taking place underneath the status quo.

The Revolution Continues..

I took mine off about two

I took mine off about two weeks ago. Been regretting it since I saw another guy still had his on the other day. Bad as it sounds, I am much more inclined to help a Ron Paul supporter purely because of good will toward them.

The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. - Heinlein

Back on goes my Ron Paul sticker!

I thought about putting it back on today before I read your post.

So now I'll go ahead and stick my magnet back on.

Although I know it will piss off most idiots out there.

The point is to find the good folks who supported the good doctor.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

I'll never take off my RP bumper sticker

despite the hot girl who made it clear she wouldn't take me seriously with it on my car. Bi tch was too dumb from the start anyway.

"I never submitted the whole system of my opinions to the creed of any party of men whatever in religion, in philosophy, in politics, or in anything else where I was capable of thinking for myself." - Thomas Jefferson

Still have my sticker on too...

To remind people of what they have missed out on.

A great example

of how the free market works for everyone involved if they know how to take advantage of it.

"Liberty is to the collective body, what health is to every individual body. Without health no pleasure can be tasted by man; without liberty, no happiness can be enjoyed by society."

i also got a deal

on a fridge from some ron paul fan at an appliance store for my ron paul hat. good stuff :D

I use Blue Wave, but don't expect one of THEIR silly taglines.

The second part I forgot was

The second part I forgot was I was rear ended at a traffic light, no so hard, no damage, and the person was so apologetic and a little embarrased and said: "Oh, you like Ron Paul, your a nice guy".

In that situation, that

In that situation, that person was at your mercy since the accident was clearly his fault.

He was probably just being really nice to you on purpose.

I've got one of my Ron Paul T-Shirts on today. I was standing by my van waiting for traffic to pass so I could open my door and get in...I got a honk and a wave. :-)

When I see anyone with Ron Paul sticker on their vehicle I always follow them and go shake their hand. Its so cool because its like we are family right off the bat.

There are still people that sometimes smirk at me when they see me wearing one of my shirts, but it used to be they would make smartass commnents about isolationist or old and I NEVER get rude comments. I think a lot of people now know everything RP has been saying is TRUE but like children they refuse to admit that the left-right paradigm is a myth and "their" political heros are all criminals.

I wear my shirts and display my stickers with more pride than ever. I'm glad my stickers say RON Paul and not just Paul. I'm not too down with the other Paul. :-0

another lesson learned

from this experience:

don't buy a big system item like that - HVAC, roof, major appliance - from a bigbox, they are not only more expensive, but the products are often built to 'exclusive' [read: inferior] specs for the bigbox store.

Same applies to faucets, bathroom fixtures, etc.

his favor to you was better than you thought!

The times sure are changing.

The times sure are changing. 4 years ago a Ron Paul sticker got me a ticket for doing 47 in a 45mph zone.

the first words out of the cop's mouth when he approached my car were "Ron Paul fan huh?"

Just the opposite for me

"Rear ended " someone (long story but only her bumper was damaged) Waited a long time in 95 degree heat for the police to show up. When the officer got there he walked up behind my car and got a big smile on his face..(2 RP bumper stickers)He took both of our info went to his cruiser to do his report. When he came back he handed us back our info. I took mine and looked to see what my fine was going to be. THERE WAS NO TICKET!

I'll NEVER remove my Ron Paul

I'll NEVER remove my Ron Paul stickers.

Me neither...

...I still have my Ron Paul for President 2008 sticker on my oldest vehicle.

You paid too much if this was your home

HVAC system. It does not cost 9K+ or even 4.5 k to get a new one shud have shopped around. I have had both mine replaced for less that that.

Do your best have no expectations

Please tell me where I can get a Lennox Signature 14-3.5 professionally installed on my roof for less? I took four bids for the job. The very cheapest that I found for a two stage was $7,900.00. Really. Help me. If I hear nothing from you then kindly refrain from opening your pie hole.

about 2 stage scroll compressors and R-410A

you should expect the unit to run longer than your old one. the compressor has a solenoid that unloads the pump. like this..

R-410A is not new, it came out in like 95 and is only now being used in the commercial sector. yes, the pressures are higher but so what?

people with R-22 systems should not worry so much. there are blends available to replace it.

if you would like I can answer any questions you might have about HVAC/R equipment.

that depends on where you

that depends on where you live and how big your home is.

All i get are toots on the

All i get are toots on the horn from other RPers and curious looks from Romney and Obama drivers.

Your system did not last very

Your system did not last very long..

Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts.

And so what is your point?

He's bragging about his RP sticker. No need for worthless, negative comments.

The only systems I've known to last longer that 15 yrs. are the ones built in the '80's and they were very energy ineffcient by today's standards.

Most systems I've replaced

Most systems I've replaced have lasted 20 years or more. Was not trying to be negative, just think he/she might have something covered under warranty.
