North Korea: What Happens If Kim Jong - Un Acts On His Threats?

In the event that the 'bellicose rhetoric' of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un turns into something more serious, the opening hours of conflict could be 'pretty ugly,' defense analysts warn.

By Anna Mulrine | Staff writer | March 29, 2013

All the noise is designed to maintain the status quo between China, the USA, S. Korea and N. Korea.

"One resists the invasion of armies; one does not resist the invasion of ideas" Victor Hugo

There used to be a link on the internet to the

Pyongyang National Newspaper.

In the late 90's I would read it to see what Kim's father was saying. It was the most inflamed crazy rhetoric ever imagined - what one would expect from North Korean Media. There was never any reaction by the USA - until recent years and the resurrection of the axis-of-evil meme - which must mean we are ready to invade Asia.

When I read that the son wants to bomb Hawaii, California, etc., I thought I was reading the Pyongyang paper again....except this time it was in an MSM paper.

I have a question

How far does the radiation spread, what effect would that have on the environment and how many millions of innocents will it kill? I hope that it does not come to that. How about opening up trade with N. Korea and try and settle this another way? What would Ron Paul do?

No more than the two nukes

No more than the two nukes dropped on Japan did. Well, maybe a few more dead.

Anymore questions?

I believe this can go one of two ways.

If China and Russia are not using North Korea and Iran as surrogates for a "first strike," Kim will "play possum" for any provocation, then take out virtually all of the US troops at the DMZ and Seoul, which will be devastating to the US military and economy. The banksters may use this is an excuse to crash the stock market now instead of later in April. China will then either freeze US assets over our massive debt to them or play "good guy" and bail us out (with major strings, of course; one of which will likely be food for North Korea).
