SWAT Raids Home Over Hydroponic Equipment Purchase, Finds Tomatoes and Squash

Did you know that buying hydroponic growing equipment is now being used as probable cause for the government to raid your house?

Neither did Bob and Addie Harte, a Kansas couple who were raided by SWAT without a warrant last April because the authorities took notice of their purchase of indoor gardening items.

between my aquaponics and my cow

I don't wonder if I'll meet the nice boys from the government, just when. Surprise, surprise, I have better sense than to risk EVERYTHING growing herb, but that won't slow them down once my number comes up.

Raids

should be prepared for just like a home invasion. Building a fortress should be apart of the home improvement process of housing.

Swat Team Takes Down Rogue Acorn Squash---Film At Eleven...

Swat Team members were confronted with a potentially lethal situation when one officer saw something shiny hidden under the leaf of one of the larger members of the squash bed.
Officers quickly wrestled the squash to the ground and rendered it harmless. No weapon was found but investigators are still sifting through the dirt looking for evidence. Another unidentified squash and two tomatoes were injured in the scuffle and were treated on the scene for minor bruises before being taken into custody.
Also arrested were accomplices Pete Moss and Pearl Lite according to Police Lt. Dick Licker. Said Licker of today's bust, "Sometimes it's good police work and sometimes we just get lucky".

Picked a great time...

To go vegan :) I have started growing my own tomatoes, peppers, various salad greens and some basic herbs during the winter indoors. It was my way of insuring non GMO in my veggies.

Now I need to worry about a swat raid??? Because I choose to try to raise some of my own food?

How did even the cops involved (sheriffs) think this was a good idea?

When?

Hey, the masters didn't give you permission to grow your own food.

You sound surprised that unalienable rights are nonexistent when you have a master called government.
