Obama: Tyranny Impossible Because "Government is us."

http://youtu.be/Md3AWf-cP_A

Perhaps the most vile and dangerous words ever uttered by a U.S. president. I don't know whether he's ignorant or lying:

In his big pitch in Colorado on Wednesday for further gun control, President Obama made an astonishing statement about gun rights advocates’ fears of governmental gun seizures. He said that such worries would just feed “into fears about government.

You hear some of these folks: ‘I need a gun to protect myself from the government. We can’t do background checks because the government’s going to come take my guns away.’ The government’s us. These officials are elected by you … I am constrained as they are constrained by the system that our founders put in place.”

Simple

He didn't. Ron Pauls campaign shows how they do it. Elections are a joke for the rubes.

I am glad we have an intelligent president.

Honestly. If Bush would have said such a thing, we could at least say "well he is an idiot, so probably isn't even smart enough to know better."

But in Obama's case, we KNOW that he UNDERSTANDS WHAT HE IS SAYING to be false. And so he is purposely misleading the public.

I find it a little disgusting

I find it a little disgusting that he's standing there with the police and their badges behind him while saying all this, in addition to the other concerns you've all expressed.

If government is us then why

If government is us, then why the police to protect him from government (ie us).

That does not compute.

In spite of being an illogical moron, Bilderburg hired him because he sure can peddle BS with a straight face.

Free includes debt-free!

If government is us, why are

If government is us, then id like to abolish
Ndaa
Patriot act
Surveilance state
WARS
Drones
Lobbying
Corpoarations being people
Two party system
Arbiatary court
Etc etc etc

Righty ho, chop chop!

It's funny that this nutjob

It's funny that this nutjob would actually believe that people will believe this garbage. I have a hard time believing that even most of the 'sheep' would take that seriously. ANYONE should know that his statement is completely the opposite. The government is there to regulate interstate commerce and for foreign relations primarily. The people regulate the government through the voting process. We are not the government because we are supposedly OVER the government. It is impossible for the government to regulate itself.

Isaiah 2:4
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

The Constitution is not self

The Constitution is not self enforcing. In practice it is only enforced if the great majority of judges, politicians, and people working in the executive branch want it to be enforced. We have long passed the point where that is the case. When is the last time a politician (other than Ron Paul) refused to vote for a bill because it violated the 10th Amendment? When is the last time a state refused to use Federal Reserve Notes because that would violate Article I, section 10? Why should we trust the President to uphold the 2nd Amendment when in a conversation before he ran for president he said he didn't think Americans should be allowed to own guns? The progressives never minded those parts of the Constitution becoming dead letters. At least we have the 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendments, they'd say. Except now under the Patriot Act, the NDAA, the TSA, and the NSA, we don't.

Our public schools used to teach children about the Constitution (the written down one, not the "living" one). That last happened in the 1950s. How can you expect people to insist that their politicians uphold the Constitution when the vast majority of them have no idea what's in it?

So no, Obama is not "constrained by the system that our founders put in place." Neither is congress. And Obama knows this. That is the most dangerous lie that I ever heard a politician utter.

Let's ask Obama this---if he gets rid of the guns, would he be

willing to get rid of all his armed guards at the "Sydney Friends School" that HIS kids go to?

And, while we're at it, if he gets rid of the guns, would he be willing to DISARM all our Congressmen & Senators & make it illegal for THEM to carry guns, and moreover, to get rid of their hired security?

Didn't think so!

Well, at least people can take him on his word...

.../sarcasm.

I mean something has to be controlling these horrid creatures !

Wasn't hitler elected?

Wasn't Chavez elected?
Wasn't Stalin elected?
Wasn't the Roman Empire a democratic republic before it turned into a sea of endless tyrannical leaders?
What's your point BARACK?
Is it that democratically elected government officials can't be tyrannical?
I have two words(kinda) for you...PHUK OFF!

Jury Nullification is a power of the last resort against tyranny.

Just like the people of St. Louis that were used as guinea pigs

for military research, or the theft of billions of dollars to bail out billionaire bankers, or imminent domain used to steal property so a campaign contributor could build a museum on family lands, or the false flag operation in Vietnam, or fast and furious, or a multitude of other items where as those in power have completely abused their power and gotten a pass for the destruction of the constitution and a violation of their oath of office, but really people, just trust us! We are just like you, only better, and as such you need not make any decisions even though history has shown what happens when people are disarmed by government, and as we all know history never repeats itself.

What a fraud and decisive tyrant Mr. Obama is, what a liar he has shown himself to be, and what a laughable speech to the zombies that have been lied to yet still fall at his feet for doing nothing more than destroying the American health care system ,small business, middle class America, but trust him to protect you.

Remember that stupid people are in the majority, and if the applause are any measure, many of the majority were in attendance.

P.S. since we are all the same, then Mr. Obama wont mind me keeping my arms. If someone could have him give me a ring when he removes the guns from all criminals, and government officials I will be available to speak with him.

Always remember:
"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." ~ Samuel Adams
If they hate us for our freedom, they must LOVE us now....

Stay IRATE, remain TIRELESS, an

People applauded this, that's

People applauded this, that's the truly unnerving thing about this clip. We're so fucked...

A nation of sheep breeds a government of wolves.

No, i think they just waited

No, i think they just waited for the appropriate time to show support, dont think they actually care what was said, which truthfully, ive seen rons supporters do on the occasion edit: rare occasion, and mostly through blessed enthusiasm, i.e. ron paul bless him, stuttering on a point not quite made clear in a room full of people and loud noise), but i think one side would support ANYTHING, while the other would have the common sense to listen to whats being said, and show support, if they happen to agree, and this is the kicker, have no problem saying

"Hang, no wait, i dont agree with that"

One side is willing to say no, if they feel they need to, the other will show support regardless of whats being said i.e. sheep

So if corporations can be evil,

which are made of people, why couldn't gov be evil which are made up of people as well. The natural progression of an evil entity with a monopoly on force is TYRANNY. Fuck I really hate obama.

People's money (monetary votes), used to pay for goods and services from said corporation is no different then a vote. You sending them money is the only reason for their existence. Why can't people get it?

Does anyone else have the urge to vomit when listening to this

guy speak? It's like Bush all over again. Every time either of these guys speak in public, its like nails on a chalk board.

This statement of "gov is us" is so ridiculously stupid. Lets just assume that elections are not rigged and bought and paid for in this country and that corporations were not in bed with the gov. Dems complain about corporations being evil. On could argue corporations were also ran by us the people. Dems and reps are to stupid to realize the money we spend on the goods and or services provided by these corporations is no different then a vote for that them. The more money (monetary voters) we send them, the more power they have. Dems complain all day about walmart, but many of them still continue to shop there. Idiots....

I am all for calling out the bad corporations taking advantage of people. But lets not forget this, corporations without gov cannot force anyone to buy their goods and services. Example: Insurance companies are loving Obamacare as now the gov is mandating people to buy premium insurance. Gov elections are stolen and voter fraud is rampant.

I do.

I do.

That makes me want to throw the hell up all my inners.

For that's precisely how a wanna-be tyrant is expected to speak, right there.

Revolting, disgusting.

It's sad and almost funny how

It's sad and almost funny how Obama handle the people that doubt the government, by taunting them and tries to make them look like fools for the sheep.

Wouldn't surprise me if he added a truther tax just to mock them further. I would like to ask Obama have you fulfilled your promises that you ran on? Would you trust someone who said one thing then did the opposite? not that it would have any effect since he is merely a puppet to his donors.

"a truther tax" ... Don't give him any ideas.

Must tax to cover the expenses of having to pay legal teams and others to defend and perform gov't coverups and abuses.

As if that statement needs to be pondered...

"Perhaps the most vile and dangerous words ever uttered by a U.S. president. I don't know whether he's ignorant or lying."

Seriously - he is a psychopath.

The only info that needs to be taken from this miscreants are that "they" know what they are
up against.

Do you know what the legislature is trying to do to the Sheriff's in Colorado?

Ron Paul is My President

Government IS us

yeah, that's why I agreed to pass the Monsanto protection act. That is why I got a say on the Patriot Act, that is why I demanded that we print out trillions and hand it out to foreign banks, corporations, and countries! Oh wait, I would never want any of those things.

Implied by O's statement is

Implied by O's statement is that "you, citizen, must accept everything that the government does since it was done by democratically elected representatives."

"Yes", emperor O might say, "one branch of the government might override something that another branch has done, but so long as that does not happen what government does cannot be legitimately resisted by those who elected the representatives."

I'd like the chance to ask the emperor, "Is it never righteous to resist the government, to take up arms against it? Would not a 19th century slave have been justified?"

candidates are selected and purhased to represent corporations , the elections are mere theatre, to help us embrace the illusion of representative democracy in a Republic.

Opposite

As I stated in a comment on here a while ago, these Archon controlled pieces of crap can not tell the truth. It is beyond them, impossible actually. If you listen to anything these "things" say and ponder it for a moment you will find that 100% of the time it is exactly 180 degrees from the truth.
So when Obama says "tyranny impossible" and "I'm not a tyrant" then you know the opposite is the truth.
That's the formula I have been using for years now and it works every time.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Archons', we are taking our planet back and there's nothing you can do about it!

LIBERTY2ME's picture

That is EXACTLY what I have

That is EXACTLY what I have been saying! Opposite, it is a formula and I believe he is talking code to "his people".

Yep. Discount everything he says.

Do not even listen except to know the opposite of what he says is the truth. Can't stand to listen and it is a gut reaction. His facial expression and body language all say LIES. Rigged voting machines and his puppet handlers created him. He was NOT elected by the people. The elections were rigged.

Bingo

That is exactly the pattern and - sadly - a great predictor of future events.

Rothbard

Obama: "The government's us."

Rothbard:

With the rise of democracy, the identification of the State with society has been redoubled, until it is common to hear sentiments expressed which violate virtually every tenet of reason and common sense such as, "we are the government." The useful collective term "we" has enabled an ideological camouflage to be thrown over the reality of political life. If "we are the government," then anything a government does to an individual is not only just and untyrannical but also "voluntary" on the part of the individual concerned. If the government has incurred a huge public debt which must be paid by taxing one group for the benefit of another, this reality of burden is obscured by saying that "we owe it to ourselves"; if the government conscripts a man, or throws him into jail for dissident opinion, then he is "doing it to himself" and, therefore, nothing untoward has occurred. Under this reasoning, any Jews murdered by the Nazi government were not murdered; instead, they must have "committed suicide," since they were the government (which was democratically chosen), and, therefore, anything the government did to them was voluntary on their part. One would not think it necessary to belabor this point, and yet the overwhelming bulk of the people hold this fallacy to a greater or lesser degree.

We must, therefore, emphasize that "we" are not the government; the government is not "us."
