A Great Day In Northeast Ohio For RP ***Now with video****

We had our Meetup group banner wave for MLK day today.
Over the weekend, the group hung 30+ overpass banners. Evidently people were calling the local ABC asking what's going on. So the local ABC affiliate came out and interviewed Paulites and filmed for over 30 minutes at the MLK sign waving.
We passed out over 1000 slim jims to passerbys.
The news just lead into the program with the RP teasers first thing.

I think this is exactly why grassroots works much better than HQ
This time when a money bomb was called for i really looked around at all the great grassroot support groups out there like the Blimp, Call For Paul, Granny Warrior, Meetups and sign wavers and that is just a few.I have also seen so many great inspiring supporter made ads on u tube instead of the tired old cookie cutter tv and radio ads that all campaigns includuding Ron's HQ.The conclusion i came to was that my money was better spent with the grassroots not all of it but i did spread it around. Lets face it we are not conventional we are revolutionary for our time and we truely are THE CHANGE that the other candidates only talk about. Sorry HQ no offense intended but the story this person posted is exactly what i'm talking about.I guess we can let HQ take care of the traditional, Ron can take care of the MESSAGE, and the rest of us can take care of the REVOLUTION.

I'm with you Hoosier. I wish I had all kindsa cash, but don't. I feel my money is better spent at this point in my area. I did kick down to the campaign for MLK Day, but not nearly as much as the two previous major bomb days.

I saw this on 6pm news! Had to keep pinching myself! This was local WEWS, channel 5 Cleveland. I have their site marked with hopes of getting video to post later. Their website news last updated in afternoon so not sure when they post evening news. They mentioned the 50 meet up groups now in the state and gave a really upbeat presentation. The reporter was even heavily bundled with steam on her mic in this bitter cold snap.

I looked for it on their web site as well and didn't find it. I called them and asked if it was on there, dude said hold on, while he checked with someone. He came back and said it wasn't on there and won't be. I mentioned to him that I could probably have tens of thousands of people on the WEWS web site in a matter of minutes. He said he knows, but the vid won't be on there.
If we can't find someone that can pull the video off the DVR's, the guy at WEWS gave me a company name that records and offers WEWS broadcasts. I left a message for them.

Thanks everyone :). It is a good feeling to see a lot of work from a lot of good people payoff. The 30 second segment on the news was very positive.
We have it DVR'd and we are trying to find someone that has the software/hardware to get it on Al Gore's Internet.
